Typical pizza place, minus the super tire rubber cheese in my pizza.
Pizza rolls are amazing!
We loved this place when it was pelican joes. Since the change in ownership and restaurant change it hasn't been the same. We have ordered multiple times and had issues with the garlic twists half of the time they are so thin and crispy/hard to chew. I have talked to a sweet girl that is the manager and she has them made correctly and delivered them no charge. Just wish it was consistent. This last order I had 2 orders of them. YOLO Pizza & Cafe offers a little bit of everything, including pizzas, sandwiches, wings, and even desserts. Customers can build their own pizza and choose from a bunch of toppings. Prices are reasonable, and the lunch deals make it even better. The pizza is good, with a sauce on the sweeter side but really good, a fair amount of topping, and a bottom that was done perfectly. The supreme and chicken artichoke were both spot on. The pizza rolls were buttery good. The garlic twists are amazing when made the original way, though they can be thin and crispy. The Italian beef sandwich was disappointing and flavorless, with beef that is bland and a broth that was basically beef colored water. The staff is friendly, the service was excellent, and the premises are very clean, bright, and comfortable. The place looked nice to sit down as well. Some feel it hasn't been the same since the change in ownership, but many would come back and give it a try.
