Not very gluten friendly, at all. Nothing I asked about was gluten free, no bread options, sauces had gluten in them. So we had wine & shared a garden salad.

My wife and I decided to stop in at Adam’s Mountain Cafe for dinner after exploring the Garden of the Gods. We were glad we did because the stop provided us with the energy to explore Red Rocks Open Space before heading back to Denver. On our next trip we will definitely stay down in the springs. The location of the cafe is quite magical with the pueblo style specialty lodging across the street and the beautiful abstract nature paintings inside. We loved our trout dinner and the chips and salsa are amazing. Especially the chips.

Adams Mountain Cafe continues to be one of the best dining spots in Manitou Springs. Although the menu has changed a bit since 2018, the quality, creativity, and care behind every dish remain outstanding. They’ve managed to keep long-time favorites like the Huevos Rancheros and Orange Almond French Toast, while introducing globally inspired options like their vegan pistachio pesto pasta and Royale Street Shrimp & Grits.

The menu still leans toward vegetarian and health-conscious fare, but meat-eaters will also find plenty to enjoy. Ingredients are fresh, flavors are layered and satisfying, and presentation is always thoughtful. Their brunch remains a local favorite, and dinner now includes an impressive craft cocktail menu and a cozy, relaxed atmosphere perfect for date nights or casual gatherings.

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the setting—with local art on the walls and a warm, community-focused vibe—adds to the overall experience. It can get busy, especially on weekends, so service might slow a bit, but it’s always worth the wait.

Whether you're a long-time local or just visiting the area, Adams Mountain Cafe is a must-visit for great food, a welcoming atmosphere, and consistently memorable meals.

Lots of options for those with dietary restrictions. Weird hours and busy open times can make it a hassle to eat here at times. Everything is made fresh to order so plan on spending some time here. Parking lot can get jammed due to proximity to Manitou. Staff is always knowledgeable about the menu and friendly. Charles Rockey's paintings adorn the walls and I hope this never changes. Try the House Tea if you need a spicy-sweet afternoon caffeine boost.

We have been going to Adams for decades through several locations. They never disappoint. Very vegan and vegetarian friendly and tons of options. Very busy but worth the wait. Scratch made and delicious, nothing fast or rushed. Great atmosphere and staff. Orange spice tea is a must every time.

Overall the food is basic items that taste like things you can make in your own home. Due to Bidenomics, my four egg, two sausage patty, breakfast with a ginger ale was $25.00.

I understand the business is trying to stay afloat but these prices are out of control. Two additional eggs was $4.50 by itself. No egg is worth that price.

I only went the once, I wasn’t overwhelmed nor disappointed. I was treated well, seated fast, fed warm food and left to enjoy my meal.

My ONLY complaint is the prices being 1000% markups. Get a better cook. Lowers your prices a smidge and you will make bank on volume with some YouTube advertising

I’m so glad we took a chance on this place. We’re from Louisiana, so we can unintentionally be kind of snobs whenever it comes to food in other states, but this place was sooo good! Probably the best pancakes I’ve ever eaten. Everything was so fresh & flavorful. And the decor/setting was so homey and traditional. Thanks for a great lunch!

This place was great! I have a kid with a food allergy and they were able to accommodate us and make a safe meal. Extra shout out to our server, Memphis, for her patience with my kiddo as they try to navigate ordering food safely and for answering all the extra questions about food safety. And as always, thank you to the kitchen- I know it slows you down tremendously and we appreciate it more than you can imagine.
Also, we all regretted not ordering more of the banh mi, it was our favorite!
