There was a line, so we sat at the bar. Waitress was nice and attentive. Food was delish! We ordered the California Chicken Sandwich with Truffle Fries and a Club Sandwich with Onion Rings. The Onion Rings are massive. Definitely the best restaurant to eat in the downtown!

My amazing server Ashley recommended the Red Bird chicken and I'm so glad I listened. It's beautifully fried and is the BEST chicken I have ever tasted. The cup of baked potato soup complimented my meal perfectly. It came topped with crispy bacon, green onions and cheddar cheese.
I can't wait to visit Border Burger Bar the next time I am in Colorado!!

One of the best burgers I’ve ever had. I ordered the Miami with truffle fries and exchanged the onions for bacon. I also had a side of their homemade ranch and spicy aioli. It was very busy, but we still had great service and received our order within 20 minutes. Will definitely be back soon!

We asked for the bun on the side for the burger. Server said, "we don't do that, but that the brioche bun was thick and was not necessary." Well.. bun was soggy and inedible. Asked for a non spicy, bloody mary no problem, she said. Bloody Mary had jalapeños with the seeds and hot peppers! Fries were soggy! I'm sorry but we won't return. I don't think that placing the bun on the side was so complicated unless the dish was prepared in advance! Tourists may not complain, but being a native coloradian, I was expecting more.

Owner is a complete tool. I was sitting a table and an employee comes in and he just hugs her?
You could tell she wasn't really pleased with that by her face.
Can over here him hitting on his own employees, while they are actively working, and people are literally dining at the bar while these things go on.
Don't go here and don't waste your time.

We loved Border Burger so much, we had to come a few times during our fairly short stay. First and foremost, the service was AMAZING! Thank you Betty and Julie for our introduction! Talk about hospitality and feeling welcome, these beautiful ladies hit the mark! Our food was delicious- burgers are homemade. My husband devoured his Cuban sandwich (loved it so much, we went back the next day for another one). Betty- thank you for helping us out in our costume pinch! It was a hit— the canes completed our skit! Our recommendation- if you want a great meal in Manitou, this is the place! Oh- the bread on my grilled cheese was a homemade cornbread. Made that grilled cheese next level 🤩 And, the proprietor, Rick, was wonderful. We had a great conversation and it’s apparent how much Rick loves the staff, the restaurant and patrons. Thank you all for our favorite dining experiences in Manitou Springs!
