We stopped in for a quick cocktail before we headed back to Colorado Springs. We tried the smoked Old Fashioned and it was amazing. Great atmosphere and the food menu looked amazing. Hoping to come back & stay at the hotel & enjoy a full dinner here.
Our entrees & dessert were very good! I had the pork chop & my husband had the Scallops. Both were great. The reason(s) I didn't give 5 stars: we had a reservation & arrived a couple of minutes before our reservation time to be told there would be a very long wait and we could either sit in the lobby of the hotel (brightly lit and alone right by the entrance and check-in) or sit outside. My wife and I had a wonderful dinner outside on the Patio, and Geoffrey look great care of us. We started with the red tuna tartare and French onion soup, both we delicious, and split the seared scallops for our entree. The scallops were perfectly cooked with a light sea salt crust, and served over a bed of risotto. Very tasty. We also highly recommend staying at the Cliff House. Perfect location for exploring Manitou Springs on foot.
