Very interesting place, large amount of history and it tells it well without sugar coating. Dives into many different pieces of history that people may know about, but either not consider or not know the extra pieces of history and their backstory.
While my mother, son, and I didn't tour the castle or, sadly, get to experience tea, we wanted to show our gratitude towards the employees here for their kindness and helpfulness. After we were misguided in the wrong direction during the flood warning today, frazzled and stranded without our vehicle, we entered the castle. The female employee said it would be okay if we came inside while we waited to hail an Uber. My phone was at 3% and the employee offered to let me use...
Great castle! Very fun artifacts! It was a fun experience, but I wish that there was more history on the castle and artifacts! I also think the price was a tad high, but overall very enjoyable!
