Pikes Peak offers a breathtaking experience for visitors. The drive to the summit is an adventure, with stunning views and hairpin turns that test even experienced drivers. At the top, the recently remodeled visitor center provides a comfortable respite, with a diner and restrooms. While the famous donuts may not be as good as they once were, the overall experience of taking in the awe-inspiring panorama from 14,000 feet is undoubtedly worth the journey. The site is also dog-friendly, making it a great destination for all.
