The building had a leak and the main dining area, food was good except the egg rolls were bland, servers were awesome.
I usually don’t write bad reviews, but this place was just too awful to stay quiet. The food was super disappointing — tasted terrible, way overpriced, and the portions were tiny. Honestly, not worth it at all. I went to China Cafe for Northeastern Chinese food just the day before, and the difference was night and day. China Cafe was so much better. Save your time and money — I strongly don’t recommend this place.
Great traditional Chinese cuisine! We ordered the Tomato Eggs Chinese Style, which was the most popular one. Twice Cooked Pork Szechuan Style, which was a bit spicy but that is exactly the traditional way to make it. Braised Eggplant in Garlic Sauce was so delicious😋 and luckily we ordered the last portion of the day! Highly recommend and wish you all enjoy!
We were visiting Manitou and were craving Chinese food. This restaurant had received 4.5 stars so we decided to try it out.
The inside is definitely run down. The walls were dirty and our tablecloth had food stains on it. It didn't look like it had been washed in a year. I'm not sure what the condition of their bathrooms were since I didn't use it, but this table next to us had a 3 or 4 year old girl that refused to use the restroom because she didn't like it. If it was anything like the rest of their restaurant, I'm sure it was not in the greatest condition.
If you want rice with your entree, it's $2.00 extra otherwise you don't get anything else with your entree. I'm not sure if that's a normal practice here? I've been to many Asian and Chinese restaurants, and I have never encountered that before.
My boyfriend and I each got an entree and one side of their plain white rice. The entrees were large portions, but our $2.00 rice came in this tiny rice bowl so definitely not worth $2.00. I had the chicken and broccoli which had too much salt/sodium in it. My boyfriend had their Kung Pao chicken which he liked. If you come here, save your $2.00 and bring your own rice.
Definitely won't be returning here again. I'm not sure how they got 4.5 stars.
This food was the worst Chinese food I've ever had. The only good thing I can add is at least it didn't make me physically sick.
We had a fantastic experience at Jade Dynasty in Manitou Springs! The food was delicious — fresh, flavorful, and everything you hope for when craving great Chinese cuisine. What really stood out was the owner — incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. You can tell they truly care about their customers and take pride in their food and service. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area. We’ll definitely be back!

Jade Dynasty Chinese Restaurant
The food was absolutely excellent—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The service was just as impressive: friendly, attentive, and efficient. A truly enjoyable dining experience from start to finish. Highly recommended!
We had so much food today, the Chinese food so gooooood! Definitely recommend this place!
Delicious authentic Chinese food! They have TWO menus here, one with the Americanized chinese food you would expect at most chinese takeaways, and one with all of the authentic Szechuan dishes they make for the local foreign university students. Ask for the real Chinese menu! The stir-fried cabbage was the best I've had outside of China.
Great food and services. Convenient for anyone who gets off the garden of gods.

We have ordered from them in the past and been very happy. Tonight we ordered two entrees and an order of cheese wontons. It was 44$. We were ok because it’s usually 2-3 meals. We get home tonight and we’re totally skimped. I would have been more satisfied going to Panda. Definitely would have received more food for less. We won’t be back. I don’t mind spending money on good food, but if they’re going to give half of what they used to for 15.95, I’ll go elsewhere.

Food is EXTREMELY overpriced and they upcharge for everything. “Entrees” don’t even include rice, vegetables, or anything.. food was unseasoned and overcooked. I don’t know how this place has any good reviews. We had to add salt and pepper to everything including egg drop soup because it tasted like water and it was 5 dollars for a “medium” that was the size of a kids cereal bowl.
