The restaurant experience was disappointing. We ordered three different types of kababs - lamb, chicken, and ground beef. Unfortunately, the chicken kabab was so unpleasant that even my children couldn't eat it. I tried it myself and found it to be of very poor quality. The lamb kabab was decent, but the ground beef kabab was a complete disappointment. It had a excessive amount of spices, making it too spicy, and the taste was terrible. To sum it up, this was the worst kabab experience I have ever had.

I just drove all the way across town to try some Mediterranean food. They were closing early and The lady said, what are you trying to get? Just didn’t make me feel welcome. Closing early is definitely a way to drive away business. It wasn’t even 7 o’clock.

Delicious Mediterranean spread. So fresh and well seasoned. Great portions. 4 stars only for the price being on the higher side. We are a mom and dad with a 6 year old. For a kids meal, appetizer and 2 entrees our total was $80 before tip. From sit down to check paid our experience was about 45 minutes. Not bad at all.

Great staff. Freshly made food (key).Place needs a renovation, though.Price could be lower but it's a tourist spot, it's fresh food, and we live in inflationary times.

Excellent value. Best Hummus of my life. Zatar seasoned warm pita-chefs kiss. We also split the kebab plate with lamb, beef, & chicken. Each meat want succulent.

Stopped in for the Falafel Basket. The seasonings on the hummus and pita were great. The falafel was nicely crispy on the outside without being dry inside. Server was very kind and quick which we appreciated since we were in a bit of a rush. The space was clean and satisfactory.

Best beef kabob I've had in Colorado - perfectly seasoned, tender and juicy. Turkish coffee was amazing too - never had cardamom in my coffee and that's all I can think right now. Might drive up to Manitou just for this place again!

Excellent food and excellent service at Sahara Cafe. We could smell the food from the springs behind the restaurant and that's what led us here. Came with a group and we each got a different shawarma. They were absolutely delicious. The meat was so well seasoned and hot and fresh. My butterscotch iced coffee was spectacular and my sister enjoyed her Turkish coffee. The baklava was also delicious. Would highly recommend. And if your wondering where the delicious smell is coming from, it's here!
