My daughter and I had a blast at the Polar Express storytime and painting. The owner is so patient with the kiddos and gives great instructions! We will be back for more painting nights and I'm bringing my mom and aunts next time :)

What a fun day. My daughter and I drove up to take part in the painting skulls event that was offered by The Painted Picket. When we arrived we were greeted quickly and checked in with no trouble. We had choice of spots and were directed to get any paint colors of choice as well as any other supplies we would like to use. The space was quaint and festive. We enjoyed the free time to paint and any questions we had were handled by the great staff. I have painted at several canvas locations and found this project to be a nice alternative. Adequate supplies were on hand, table space and staff were excellent. Drinks and snacks were available however I didn't have much time to spend checking these out, perhaps another time. I highly recommend this location for a fun few hours away. We will most certainly return.

I love the painted picket, owners and staff. I participated in the open house today and met some great people. Even picked up some of the homemade crafts featured today. If you have not had the opportunity to stop by make sure to make the time to check them out. This is a family friendly, fun and interactive studio for both kids and adults. You will be glad you stopped by to see what they are all about.
