“Took my grandkids to Goober’s for hard-scoop ice-cream while visiting from Illinois. I thought it was a cute little shop. Friendly server. I was a little confused that there was no menu, but I was able to let the ice cream scooper know how to make a turtle sundae and she was able to make it just the way I like it! I also appreciate that they will let you taste a flavor before you order. Not a lot to choose from but there was enough of a choice to make it worth while.”

“These lobster rolls are so good. Very fresh and delicious. The only problem I have with this place is that two separate times we have gone to a brewery specifically because they will be there and they have run out of food by time we are there. One time they were scheduled to be at a place for from 4-8. We arrived at 6:30 for them to be say they were out. I know it's hard to know how much to bring or prep but it's so delicious and it's very disappointing every time we get there to find them run out.”

“Very welcoming establishment. Me and my cousin from out of state swung in on a whim. We were treated kindly by owners, bartenders and other guest. Felt just like the small home town bar I'm used too. Offer darts, pool, pizza and other snacks. Nice little back patio area too.”

“We love ordering from our favorite local pizza spot! The salads are always a generous size and the pizza crust is always flaky, flavorful and cooked to perfection. They offer a large selection of specialty pizzas and calzones and many ways to customize your order to your liking. We're very lucky to have Pelican Joe's in Milliken as a local dining and take out option as an alternative to the fast food and chain restaurants that seem to be taking over our once small farm community. “Absolutely thrilled with today's lunch experience! The burger special featuring pulled pork and a sweet habanero sauce was hands down the best burger I've savored in a long while. And those chile cheese fries? Absolute perfection! The green chile boasted authentic flavor and just the right amount of spice, elevating the dish to new heights. Compared to previous visits, the improvement in the quality of the chile was undeniable. Keep up the fantastic cooking! We're already planning our next visit.”

“Just came back from celebrating my fiftieth birthday at Nordy’s. The food and service were top-notch! Our server Eli recommended that I get brisket and turkey on my combo plate and he did not steer me wrong. Both were tender and juicy (especially the turkey, which tends to dry out). My family will definitely be going back (there’s a bread pudding that I just gotta try)!”

“Wonderful food. Their slaw is unique and delicious especially with thier fresh jalapeños and on sandwiches. Like that you can have a completely contactless experience if you want to. The in-store pops and teas sound wonderful would be nice if they offered more than cola for sugar-free though.”

The ordering system was a bit unique and at first I wasn’t sure I liked it and would prefer full service, however the owner and the staff really helped and made it seamless. The restaurant was absolutely stunning and clean. I couldn’t get over how beautiful it was. The wine was delicious and the meal was incredible! We will definitely be back!”

“Honest review: The food is a 10/10 for me. It was delicious and I finished the whole meal! The customer service was 10/10, as well. The staff was no only kind but seemed very genuine. My only complaint would be the price. I got a chicken salad sandwich, which the salad didn’t cover the whole sandwich, a side of pasta salad and I added a side of fruit.. it was $16.00. Not terribly priced but more than I expected. Overall 9/10!”

You can get a breakfast burrito from Buccees with disgusting eggs for $8.23, or a delicious burrito from Los Rudos for $4.The menu has something for everyone and if you’re in the area, this is a place where you’ll try some amazing food you didn’t know existed in northern CO!”
