Overpriced?!? we ordered the chips which came with a thimble full of salsa and guacamole for $18. The enchilada for $30 the dinkiest enchiladas I’ve ever seen similarly the quesadilla for $22. No internal ingredients all flour. Total rip off.

Menu isn't huge but offers decent variety. Portion size and pricing are just right. Staff was excellent. Long wait during prime time but service was very quick.

Tonight was the first night I’ve been back to The Saloon since the remodel/reopening. The new owners did a nice job preserving the historic and memorabilia feel. However, they did not preserve a lot of our favorites on the menu such as the chimichangas, enchiladas with jalapeño cream sauce, fried ice cream or even the complimentary chips and salsa. What we ordered wasn’t bad, but didn't live up to our expectations/memories of The Saloon. The prices, relative to the portions were pretty disproportionate, even for the Vail Valley. Lastly, our server, Andrew, was really bad. Listening to other servers in the dining room, we may have drawn the short straw getting him, but again another disappointment this evening. I have been going to the Saloon with my family since I was 4 years old (1981). Sadly, tonight was probably our last, at least for a while.

The redone saloon is better than ever. The waitstaff is so great! Have loved everything we've ordered (have been 4 times). Such a fun and friendly atmosphere. Nothing not to love about this place.

Cocktails were great. Salad was great. Service was great. The food is good but the menu is limited and very pricey, and the children's menu needs more choices. For those reasons we probably won't return.

Minturn Saloon is excellent! I'd like to refer to it as "upscale Mexican." The menu has the usual classics but also includes some unique dishes. We love it here, it's a family favorite!

This was our first dinner at the Saloon since the remodel/reopening. The new owners did a nice job preserving the historic feel. Lastly, our server was really bad. Listening to other servers in the dining room, we may have drawn the short straw, but yet again another disappointment. My husband had been going to the Saloon with his family since he was 4 years old (1981). I have been going with them for the past 20 years with our kids. The Saloon was always on our agenda each visit. Sadly, we will probably not return.

The "new" Saloon is pricey; $10 for a good draft beer(!) and $14 for a margarita out of a tap(!!) Nachos and enchiladas are the best thing on the menu.Better value elsewhere in town but it seems that everyone wants to experience the remodel/new menu at least once. Nicest dining space in town but they make you pay for it ??‍♂️Obligatory obituary to: formerly free chips & salsa, the bar food menu, chimichangas, and of course - quail!Parking: Park to the northwest in the municipal lot

The food and drinks here were very good. However, it took a long time to be served and to get a check. It seems that they are understaffed, although they were very busy and wanted to turn the table.

Minturn Saloon is a valley icon. Food is substantial and good. Noise is high, but comes with the territory. Owners have done a great job preserving the old timey feel. Recommend for family or group.

We used to go a lot to the “old” Saloon and that was the first time we tried it's new and refreshed version - we were pleasantly surprised - a nice remodeling of the interior while keeping the old pictures that made the history of this place, great, improved food , albeit with a more streamlined menu , and great service from our waiter Jason - we will come back

Great job bringing real atmosphere and history back to life. Excellent bar, waitstaff and atmosphere. The people beside us at the bar said their food was excellent.

What once was a nostalgic, dusty, vintage ambience has turned, sterile, sadly. They have removed most of (the Favorite) dishes we've been enjoying for two decades, replaced by mediocre Mexican. What a shame.

A member of our party got very sick about 45 minutes before our reservation, so I called immediately and asked if they would cancel our reservation without penalty because of the illness. The person I spoke to said he could not make that call but that I should expect that my credit card will be charged if we don't show. I understand the need for cancellation policies during peak season but the lack of humanity was troubling. So the rest of our party went to dinner—not feeling great about leaving a member of our party. The most insulting thing? The dining room never reached more than half capacity while we were there. The cancellation would have meant nothing.
