The only reason this place is so awesome is- there aren't a lot of great places up here. I think the altitude affects taste, tbh. But the people here are friendly and welcoming, they have vegetarian options, the food is solidly and consistently good, and I love the vibe of the place overall. The sauces are not amazing. Rocky Mountain Taco in Miniturn is a great place to stop off and get a quick bite. We were just getting into town for a week of skiing. We pulled up about 30 minutes before they closed. Walked in and there was no line. We ordered at the counter, took a seat, and our food was done within about 5-10 minutes. The chips were crispy, and the food was hot. The BEST tacos, burgers, tortas, burritos, bowls, fríes in the entire Vail Valley. Have loved the food 10+ times, at their various locations (food truck in Avon for the tacos menu for example, is amazing….) & now including the Minturn main Restaurant location today!!!
