Love Vail Mountain Coffee & Tea! Cozy vibe, cool people. Faith is a master of her craft! Love her London Fogs and Cortados. Also love to see Josh or Austin behind the counter! Owned by two stand up locals, with sustainable & ethical business practices to boot. They roast their coffee in house, and have a wide selection of roasted blends to take home. There’s always sweet treats to be had too, salted caramel cookie, chocolate croissants, and other savory choices. Grateful to have this place (& crew!) as my neighbors!

Really loved this coffee shop. Stopped on the way through town. Had a perfect London fog, not too sweet, and a custard tart which was delicious. My husband had a maple latte and a heavenly salted caramel cookie. Was way better than Starbucks and for both drinks and food. Highly recommend!

So glad we stopped in after a hike for coffee and treats. Relaxing atmosphere, high quality coffee & teas. Also bought a local protein bar that was 👌. Our barista was lovely and pulled great shots.

My husband and I have gone twice to this place for our honeymoon and our one year anniversary. The chai latte is very good. It wasn't too sweet and was spicy. My husband got the espresso and it was okay for him.

The atmosphere is great! They’ve got games you can play while you drink coffee and plenty of space to hang out. Neat concept.

Great coffee! Cozy vibes for working. Welcoming to families. My young boys enjoyed playing the many games they had available and watching the employees roast the coffee.

Cortado was excellent. 8/10 on the drink. Milk froth was passable (but not bad), and the espresso was quite good. Light single origin. We were only there for two days so dunno how consistent, but I was impressed.

The minturn one sucks. The downieville one is top tier. Minturn employees except one girl are a group of clowns with bad attitudes. The coffee they make sucks. The downieville location is quality every employee has a good attitude and treats everyone properly. They have more options in downieville and they don't all act like the coolest wanna be hipsters.

I popped in early last Friday morning, and asked Craig for a coffee. 'Had a great coffee and an even better conversation. This is exactly the kind of place to be when then snow's drifting down and you're looking for some good Joe and conversation to warm the soul and restore your faith in humanity.

Parking: You park right in front and there was plenty of it available.

Just a bit “off the beaten path” but closer to I-70 than you think and worth the 5 minute break! Specialty coffee and teas, pastries and welcoming atmosphere. Lovely cup of drip coffee with very high quality-price point.Thank you☕️

TL;DR: Wrong website description and bad customer service. We first tried a 12 ounce bag of one of their coffee bags and it was excellent, so we decided to order another and different bag. We ordered the Nordic Blend which has a medium roast level, according to the website. On arrival, I discovered it's a combination light and medium roast. I reached out, asking how we can work this out because this is either a mistake or wrong website description. The guy who responded ignored my question, and mentioned the blend is 70% medium roast and 30% light roast. I'm not a coffee expert, but a blend is usually different types of coffee, and if the roast is different, then you should mention that on the website. For a person who hates light roast, 30% is a lot. I told them they should update the website and that I guess there's no option to work this out. I didn't get a respond back. Too bad this is how they choose to treat customers. I really hoped to order from them on a regular basis, but that's not gonna happen.

Very quiet, cozy, and spacious coffee shop. The small bakery options are tasty. The whole town of Vail is somewhat hidden, and with this place on the outskirts, it’s easy to miss unless you’re specifically looking for coffee. I also appreciate this business is eco-conscious.I wish we were staying longer to try more of the teas! I recommend this place for matcha lovers. The matcha latte with oak milk is perfect.
