I popped in early last Friday morning, and asked Craig for a coffee. 'Had a great coffee and an even better conversation. This is exactly the kind of place to be when then snow's drifting down and you're looking for some good Joe and conversation to warm the soul and restore your faith in humanity.Parking: You park right in front and there was plenty of it available.

Just a bit “off the beaten path” but closer to I-70 than you think and worth the 5 minute break! Specialty coffee and teas, pastries and welcoming atmosphere. Lovely cup of drip coffee with very high quality-price point.Thank you☕️

TL;DR: Wrong website description and bad customer service. We first tried a 12 ounce bag of one of their coffee bags and it was excellent, so we decided to order another and different bag. We ordered the Nordic Blend which has a medium roast level, according to the website. On arrival, I discovered it's a combination light and medium roast. I reached out, asking how we can work this out because this is either a mistake or wrong website description. The guy who responded ignored my question, and mentioned the blend is 70% medium roast and 30% light roast. I'm not a coffee expert, but a blend is usually different types of coffee, and if the roast is different, then you should mention that on the website. For a person who hates light roast, 30% is a lot. I told them they should update the website and that I guess there's no option to work this out. I didn't get a respond back. Too bad this is how they choose to treat customers. I really hoped to order from them on a regular basis, but that's not gonna happen.

Very quiet, cozy, and spacious coffee shop. The small bakery options are tasty. The whole town of Vail is somewhat hidden, and with this place on the outskirts, it’s easy to miss unless you’re specifically looking for coffee. I also appreciate this business is eco-conscious.I wish we were staying longer to try more of the teas! I recommend this place for matcha lovers. The matcha latte with oak milk is perfect.

Love this cafe. Always consistently great coffee (flat white) made properly. Unfortunately, today, we got 2 milky coffees from an untrained barista.

The most amazing gluten free baked goods! My 10yo daughter with celiac loved that she could pick whatever she wanted.

I had a tea from the store. It was very hot and decent flavor. I did buy some coffee to take home. The person at the register didn't ask if I wanted it ground. I don't know if that's the thing in Colorado. Back home our small coffee roaster will ask. If I went back to the area I don't think I would stop again.

The baristas were condensing and unhelpful when ordering. It was just my husband and I in the shop, we go to the counter to look at the menu, was told to “hurry up, I’m not here all day” by a very high working man. Then his buddy, who is as high states “everyone thinks we are like the other guys (Starbucks)”. I was very startled by the whole interaction. It felt like these men were angry and upset at anything that would walk into the door.I live near and it’s sad to see our little town having experiences like this.

I'm a coffee snob and the coffee here is phenomenal. The tea selection is vast for all of the tea lovers out there. Definitely will come back here next time I'm in vail!

Great atmosphere and prices. Being in a small mountain town I was expecting to pay $6 for a cup of coffee. Surprisingly a large coffee and a cookie came out to less than $5.

My friend commented how rude the staff were to me- which is funny because I have gotten used to it here. I’m not sure why, but every time I go here the baristas tend to scowl and seem really put off, and this time they messed up a really simple order for a croissant, and the dirty chai tasted burnt. Nice space, but it is too bad they have rude staff and overpriced drinks and food.

Baristas are really nice and the interior is cozy with plenty of seating. Small but good pastry selection. Good coffee too!

Such a nice spot. Grabbed coffee and a pastry here and both were lovely. Will be coming back soon!
