“Papa Murphy's always makes a delicious pizza pie. They load on the fresh, high-quality toppings. Their crust (especially the pan, although we also like the thin and regular crusts) is buttery and crispy... So good! Their service is fast, courteous, and friendly. Be advised if you are ordering on a Tuesday ($10 pizza day) to order early as they get crazy busy and your pizza may not be done on time.
Pro tip - download the app, order, pay, then just walk in and take your pizzas out the door. Happy pizza night!

“This location has to have the nicest employees I’ve encountered at any place like this. I wish I got the lady’s name that I worked with but she was great. Been here a couple times and I’ve come back for the pleasant experience more than anything. Brightens my mood just to come here. Great food too!“
“Somewhat surprisingly, the hospital has some of the best food in town. Maybe the best.
And the prices can't be beat. Loaded omelet with large OJ set me back a whopping $8.20! In June of 2025, not 1912!
Only problem is after ordering and paying, the cashier eventually brings you the food. But if they're busy, it can get cold while you're waiting.
If busy, best to keep an eye out for progress, maybe grab it yourself.
Food is great, workers friendly and helpful. Atmosphere? Well, it is a hospital.
They change the menu offerings occasionally. Bummer - they took my favorite off the menu: a dry-rub salmon that was the best I've ever had. (I will go there to eat, even if don't need to go to the hospital!)“

“I was admitted to Montrose Regional Health in the early morning hours of July 5th after experiencing a sudden inability to breathe, followed by coughing up blood. The emergency room team acted quickly and with great care, getting me in for a CT scan right away. Concerned by what they saw, they transferred me to the ICU for close monitoring. And that’s where the real story begins—because during the three days I spent in the ICU, I was cared for by some of the most incredible nurses I’ve ever encountered. Chris and Jamie during the day, and Brian at night, were not only skilled but compassionate, encouraging, and deeply human in how they approached their work. On my second day, I woke up discouraged. While all my tests had come back negative (a blessing), the doctors still couldn’t pinpoint exactly what was causing the lung issues—aside from pneumonia. As a mom to a large family, I hadn’t expected to be away from my kids for so long. Chris took the time to truly listen, explaining everything clearly and checking in frequently. He helped bridge communication with the doctors and made sure I felt informed and emotionally supported throughout. Brian, my night nurse, brought exactly the energy I needed—especially during those early 5 a.m. blood draws and medication times. His positive spirit lifted mine. Though my time with Jamie was brief, she was incredibly encouraging, cheering me on with every walk and filling the room with her contagious optimism. The entire ICU team—nurses, assistants, lab techs, and doctors—was phenomenal. I never once felt like a burden, even when I had to get up to use the bathroom what felt like four times an hour. They were always patient, professional, and genuinely joyful in their work. You could feel their dedication—not just to their jobs—but to the people they were caring for. In an environment where fear and uncertainty are high, their care, compassion, and optimism were healing in themselves. I truly believe that this level of emotional care made a significant difference in how quickly I began to recover. I’m also deeply grateful for the growth of Montrose Regional Health and the new specialists they've brought on. Because of this, I didn’t need to be transferred to Junction or Denver to see a pulmonologist. Thank you, Dr. Howe, for listening, investigating, and helping find the root of the problem. I’ve given birth to seven of my children at Montrose Hospital and have consistently experienced thoughtful, high-quality care. This most recent experience only reaffirmed what I’ve always known: the staff here are exceptional, and Montrose is incredibly fortunate to have them. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who cared for me—you helped me get back home to my family, and that means everything. 💛“

“We got a variety of pizzas for our team at Alpine Bank and everyone enjoyed them. The staff at Buckaroos Slices and Scoops are very friendly as well! We all would highly recommend!“
