The pizza was delicious 😋 but the burned edges were just chared too much. It's too bad they can't turn down the oven a little 🫤 but over all the price was right 👍🏻 and who wouldn't love the area! ❤🤍💚
Had gluten free and dairy free pizza which was great. That said it’s just average
As a lifelong pizza aficionado, let me start this review by saying the Elk make outstanding pies, not to mention all of their assorted sweet treats. But the real reason I have to give all of my fellow Google travelers my honest feedback is because of the level of friendly service I receive each and every time I visit, especially from David, Alex, and the lovely young lady whose name I will need to learn how to spell correctly before my next review. Crazy Elk is a great spot to grab pizza anytime in the Mountain Village and Telluride area. It is a super chill and relaxed place with a cool vibe. The staff are really friendly, nice, attentive, helpful, and accommodating, providing excellent and fast service. The food tastes great and is seriously delicious. They have a solid variety of pizzas, and everything tried was so good and yummy, with specific mentions of the Cheese pizza and the Carnivore pizza being excellent. They also offer a good selection of beers, and the boxed red wine is a must-try. The prices are good. The restaurant can accommodate large groups and parties effectively. The only noted area for improvement is the ventilation, as kitchen smells can be felt upon entering. Overall, it is a highly recommended place for a really delicious meal, making visitors want to come back many times.
