“My husband and I are from Colorado Springs and we had family in town from Maryland and we took them to Lou’s this past Thursday for lunch. My husband and I have never been there either. What a WONDERFUL experience and the food was INCREDIBLE!!! My husband and I bought the premade rigatoni bolognese to take home for a dinner after our family left. This evening when we went to cook it we weren’t sure on the temperature or timeframe. I called Lou’s and the gentleman remembered us and gave me instructions. Super Awesome folks with delicious food. Thank you guys for the help over the phone with cooking instructions. We will definitely be driving to Denver again to frequent this establishment. 10 out of 10 for sure. YOU GUYS ROCK!!!“

It’s fresh, healthy and delicious, and the two owners make you feel like family. Plus, the prices are very reasonable given the quality of the food. I recently called to ask if I could place an order and have them set it outside since I had COVID. One of the owners said he’d be more than happy to, but then mentioned they offer delivery. “Cute 420 themed establishment with tasty subs, unique mural on the wall, and friendly staff. Soda machine was down but bar was accommodating. All food was hot and tasty. A bit pricey but what isn't these days? Would consider eating there again.“

“We received a gift card from a family member at Christmas and decided to use it on a Saturday night in January. The restaurant was packed but there was seating in the bar area, so we decided, what the heck(!) and went to the bar. Once seated we were greeted with the friendliest bar staff, Marissa and Tiernan. We wanted a glass of red and Marissa recommended the Porta Vita Italia. It is a delicious bargain and we were so impressed (and now hooked!). Our food was and continues to be great, as now we have become Saturday night regulars! We are Italian and honestly did not think we could get a traditional and tasty meal at a chain. Marissa and Tiernan, thank you for the excellent, friendly customer service and sweetness. You both are classy, sassy and super bad-**sy! “This is a great place for drinks and appetizers. The place is small, with great views and very friendly staff.
We tried 3 different drinks, 2 of which were 7.5/10 and one that was a solid 9.5/10 for us. I’m still thinking about their Nordic inspired drink.
The oysters were good, so were the marinated olives, but that’s it, just good. If I’m being honest I wouldn’t pay the food prices again, but would happily pay for the drinks.“

We got the 16 inch and I asked if we could pay an up charge for the huge box for my neurodiverse child to collect as she likes to keep unusual or unusual sized food containers. They said no so I would recommend that you order the 24 inch pizza if you want the giant box as a keepsake. The person who brought the pizza out was very pleasant.“

“The Panang Curry is fantastic. The rice serving could have been larger for a dinner order but the flavor was fantastic. Ordered hot. Was spicy without being overpowering. Highly recommend. The Satay was decent. A little on the dry side but definitely not bad. The Gyoza were great.

A note on service, they are not the fastest. When they say 25-30 minutes for a takeout order, expect closer to the 30 minute mark. I also was there on a Sunday evening so maybe they were short staffed but there was little touch on the service side. Not bad, just not very rushed which is fine if as long as you go in with that expectation.

“Your place is neat and clean. The food is fantastic. The servers are pleasant, but they cannot count. My change was 88 cents (3 quarters, 1 dime, and 3 pennies) after staring in the till for a few seconds, I got back 3 quarters. The new "math"!!!!!! October 1, 2024, Well it looks like no one at your place gives correct change. Coins seem to be an involuntary donation to your business. Guess we could begin rounding the check down to eliminate the coins, but you would scream like a stuck hog. Only solution is to modify the "tip" to recover the coins!!!!!!!!“
