The Western is a beautiful Hotel and lovely staff. My daughter recently married in Ouray. We chose the Western for their reception and stayed at the Hotel. It was absolutely beautiful. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Making our stay even better. Susanne was wonderful to me the day of the reception making every little detail exactly as my daughter wanted it to be. It was the wedding of her dreams. I hope to return in the near future. It is a beautiful town and I highly recommend visiting the Western, either it be for dinner, a drink at their bar or stay the night.

The drinks were creative and delicious. The food was very tasty. Smaller portions than normal but this is not necessarily a problem, as I finally left a place without leftovers. The service was excellent as well.

During our off-season winter visit, the restaurant offered a limited menu with outstanding food. The offerings were distinctive an the flavors of the items were phenomenal. An apple salad with beats and goat cheese - I could eat it every day! The bone-in pork chop grilled to perfection.

Enjoyed an evening out in Ouray, lovely restaurant with mouth watering food and drinks. Each stage of the meal was so very good and I hope to return to enjoy more of their tasty desserts.

Overall (but with one exception from what we ordered) the food was good; however the portions are very small, and some of the main dishes had no accompaniments at all. The fried chicken was a huge disappointment. It resembled chicken nuggets more than fried chicken and was bland. The pork chop special came with literally one spear of broccolini and maybe four or five small wedges of sweet potato. The dessert and cocktails were all excellent, as was our server. But we won't be going back, as this was overall a disappointing experience, especially for the cost.
Amazing restaurant! Our family had an amazing experience in the Western. Excellent service from a ‘Georgia Belle' and also from the hostess. Food was incredible especially the steaks and lamb bolognese. The restaurant is beautiful. Must visit while in the area!
