New China Reviews
Very nice! We came in late it was the last place open. We didn’t have high hopes because of the reviews but we’re so pleasantly surprised. The food was great the service was great. Don’t come for the bathrooms or atmosphere lol but otherwise it was great. Take a look a the negative ratings most of the names are weird like is someone trying to give them a bad rating on purpose. Anyway food was good so don’t worry about the bad ratings.
Tried this restaurant for the first time this weekend and loved every dish we got. Their wonton soup was delicious and we couldn't get enough of the pork fried rice. We are so happy to have a new take on Chinese food in Pagosa :)

This is no longer called Hunan, and is New China.. AND new china has new owners and it is quite good!! Their kung pao is delicious and so is the sesame chicken is delicious, not to mention their crab Rangoon is the best I've had and I grew up in Chicago and travel eat in NYC. Definitely give it a try if you haven't been in the past couple months, it's new menu, and new chef and new owner!!
