Came here for a getaway with my significant other on our last night of our trip last year and it was the highlight of my trip as far as dinning! The atmosphere was cozy and quiet and the seating was intimate! Our meals were delicious and so was dessert! I tell everyone I know who is coming to this area they have to make a reservation here and to be sure to check out the sunset from their view! It’s breathtaking!

This is an institution of Pagosa Springs, it has changed owners but it’s still worth a visit. A little kitschy but the service was excellent, the meal was very well paced, and it was very good. With better lighting and maybe a few more vegetable choices I could have given it a 5 out of respect.

Outstanding from the corn bread to the most tender filet .. every detail was perfect. Please don’t hesitate to spend your next special occasion here.

My visit to this place. Was just ok at best. My steak wasn’t cook to my order. My sons ribeye steak was over cooked too. The higher end steak restaurants I have been to. I was always asked if my steak was cooked correctly. Not here. Waiter apologized for not being attentive. If I had waited to tell him my steak was way over cooked. Everyone else would have been finished eating. Didn’t bring the correct drink order. We asked what that drink was. Waiter didn’t know. Just asked if it tasted good. Then went away again. Service should have been lots better than this. For what they charge. The guy singing was good. The trout was cooked good. The shrimp was good as well. This place was recommended. But I doubt we will try it again.

Great cozy atmosphere, great service and absolutely wonderful food! What an amazing surprise! We were impressed and very happy!! 10 out 10 stars for sure. Next time we visit Pagosa Springs we’ll be back! Cheers!!

Fine dining, very subdued atmosphere... and apparently they employ the only chefs in the Pagosa Springs area, because everything else in town is pretty under par for gas station food, while every morsel on these plates demands full attention.

Great ambiance, service, and atmosphere. The food was superb. They also had live music. Jack Ellis was wonderful. Overall, a great evening on the patio.

Everything about this restaurant was great. The place was clean and smelled good. The staff and greeter was very nice. Our waiter was awesome, the staff also worked as a team in bringing and cleaning up our food. The food was fresh and awesome. Then we also had dessert and that was really good as well. Great atmosphere with really nice people.

We have dinner and drinks here very often. The atmosphere is unreal with antique mining relics throughout the restaurant. Staff and owners (service) is the best. We usually start escargot and have one of the prime steak choices. Always fantastic! Just a few minutes outside town and absolutely worth it. Thanks Sky!

? A lovely anniversary dinner ❤️ The food was impeccable, we even got to have a quick chat with the chef ??‍? about upcoming changes to the menu, when I asked about a specific dish, he said he would try to put it on the menu & to follow them on Facebook to keep up with changes, I did! ? The portions were a very good size, so much so we both took some to go ?? My only complaint was that even though we had a reservation, we were sat next to a table of 4-6 rather rowdy guys when the restaurant was nearly empty. Our waitress was lovely and told us we could move, we should have taken here up on it but did not, that is on us ??‍♀️ We will definitely be back & share this place with visiting friends!

We had the rib-eye steak and it was a very poor choice. Lots of grizzle and so much could not be eaten, lots of fat. The farmers salad was not good at all. It was a huge waste of money. Will not return.

Immaculate. Definitely a Michelin Star worthy experience. I would travel from the depths of the universe to have this again. This would be my death bed meal. Just trying to express HOW freaking good this place is because it was Hands Down the best steaks (both the filet and ribeye) I have ever had in my life. Every mouth full was a shock to the flavor buds, from the salad and canned corn bread to the carrots. (We ate EVERY drop of salad, bread, an 8oz filet a giant ribeye with sides AND a peach cobbler) and holy wow, I could eat it again and again! Jaw dropping what these 2 young brothers have created together. If you’re looking for a true Colorado feel with a delicious meal beyond worth every penny, look no further, I won’t even spoil how freaking neat the atmosphere is. It needs to be experienced because no 5 stars could do this justice.

Without a doubt, this was one of the best restaurants we have ever been to. The ambiance and setting of an old miner’s shack, as well as the quality of the food was amazing. There are only a few restaurants I would consider a destination. This is one. Well worth traveling a few - or even several hundreds of miles to get to. We met two of the owners, brothers, who were both very friendly. Honestly, Michelin should come by and rate this establishment. Yes - it is that good. We’ll come again. We’ll go out of our way to come again.
