Came here for a getaway with my significant other on our last night of our trip last year and it was the highlight of my trip as far as dinning! The atmosphere was cozy and quiet and the seating was intimate! Our meals were delicious and so was dessert! I tell everyone I know who is coming to this area they have to make a reservation here and to be sure to check out the sunset from their view! It’s breathtaking!
This is an institution of Pagosa Springs, it has changed owners but it’s still worth a visit. A little kitschy but the service was excellent, the meal was very well paced, and it was very good. With better lighting and maybe a few more vegetable choices I could have given it a 5 out of respect.
My visit to this place. Was just ok at best. My steak wasn’t cook to my order. My sons ribeye steak was over cooked too. The higher end steak restaurants I have been to. I was always asked if my steak was cooked correctly. Not here. Waiter apologized for not being attentive. If I had waited to tell him my steak was way over cooked. Everyone else would have been finished eating. Didn’t bring the correct drink order. We asked what that drink was. Waiter didn’t know. Just asked...
