Food is great but service was horrible. We come here every year for our anniversary since we live out of state. Last year was closed and we were so sad but looked forward to this year. My husband loves the jalapeño cream cheese burger. We waited an hour due to some big parties. Took 15 minutes for anyone to come to our table and another 10 just to get drinks. We had already looked at the online menu and ordered right away. food came luke warm and missing some. Again the waiter took forever to bring as I think he forgot to order this with the rest and entered it last minute when we asked where the onion rings were. We asked for ketchup and had over half our fries gone before that came. We should have known by now to ask for everything at once since the pattern was we had to wait for each request. When he came with our check, again took another 10 to 15 to get our card and another to bring it back. There were people waiting and could have had our table. Sadly we feel this would be the last visit for us and we had planned on coming back a few times this year

Loved it. Service was great. We got in quick on a busy Saturday. The food was delicious. I’d definitely go back. We had eight people and they were all taken care of. The waitress was a delight. Only complaint is the warm beer glasses. The beer was great but I bet it could be even better extra cold. Thank you!

Top notch beer and food. Hopgoblin is a well crafted IPA, and the Big Lambowski Burger is bursting with flavor. Great mountain town brewery with an emphasis on the love of beer. Dalton was very informative.

This place was surprisingly good — like *someone famous* needs to check out the chef here or whoever designs their menu.

I had a chokecherry habanero margarita and it was amazing (also very hot for me lol, no joke when they say habanero!) plus a gobrito(?*) goat burger with cotija cheese. I was shook.

When you think of small mountain towns, you don’t think gourmet, you don’t think foodie. But this place was surprisingly tasty and very ahead of any other place we ate in Pagosa.

Tbh I didn’t try the beers — but the goat burger was so amazing. I scarfed that burger down so fast I finished my food before my husband (trust me, that never happens). Pair it with the cilantro slaw, this place acknowledges the history of Pagosa / Southern Colorado while making it tasty.

My family’s from La Jara and green chiles and chokecherries were a staple. This hit a nostalgic memory, that I didn’t know I was missing.

We also got the green chile apple pie they sell w/Pagosa Bakery — to die for.

**Side note & edit— I felt like the service was slow -but I guess that depends on where you’re from. Very slow compared to Denver restaurants - but maybe, moderate for Pagosa? We didn’t have to wait for a table; but as we finished I could see more people waiting and waiting for table, and felt a little bad.

But other than that, was great!

The beer brined eggs are a specialty, and you can't beat the views, sitting right on the river.

Food was decent, not a "must experience" BUT... the staff and clientele are SO worth the visit. Food was fine, just not anything spectacular.
They have a unique burger selection - goat and lamb in particular.
Big Lebowski themed decor let me know I'd found my tribe. 🧘‍♀️
