Shanghai Chinese Restaurant

Was some of the most bland Chinese food I have tasted in a while. I had the Almond Crispy Chicken. The sauce that came with the chicken had very little flavor. The chicken was breaded and fried well but all of the things that our party ordered were lacking in flavor. You expect certain flavors with Chinese food and it just wasn't up to standards.

Best Chinese food I have ever had. Heard good things and decided to try. Honestly I am not a Chinese food fan BUT I loved the food. Not a fast food restuarant yay!! If I could give them 10 stars I would!!

I ordered combination fried rice to go. The rice was dried out & hard. It was a bummer. Called to let them know about it, when I arrived back into cell range. -a couple days later. They offered to sell it to me again for $3 off. Yep. I passed up that fab offer.

Absolutely the worst, over price meal I have had in town. Extremely over priced for what you get. Egg rolls where so soggy I fed them to my dog. No condiments ( hot mustard or soy sauce) included with take out, even though ask for extra. Live in pagosa, will not be back!
FYI. Not the first time but will be the last!

What happened to this restaurant? Used to be fabulous. Very low quality. I basically ordered a plate of onions and two pieces of meat.

A great restaurant that offers carryout and DoorDash. The food is delicious and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. I haven’t had a bad experience here.

Fantastic meal. They are VERY accommodating for gluten free and can make nearly any dish gluten free. I had the Homestyle Tofu and it was delicious. The service was fantastic and it’s definitely a place I’ll go back to again.

I don’t know what the negative reviews are yapping about. As a local who enjoys plenty of options off of their menu, I can say that this is by FAR one of the BEST restaurants in Pagosa Springs. As someone who is from a major city and has lived in many major cities, I can also say that this is by FAR one of the BEST restaurants. Incredible staff, they are all so kind and generous and very very friendly & welcoming. They are incredibly deserving of tips!! I read some reviews here saying they scam or fish for tips, which is a blatant lie, and also they are very very deserving of more gratuity than they receive!! Their food is absolutely phenomenal! My fiancé and I have both tried almost every dish on the menu and have loved every bite of every single one, we never have leftovers! All in all, I wanted to leave a review boasting about this amazing place because they deserve it and I was very sad and shocked to see people leaving rude reviews that are just so untrue.

This food has the BEST Chinese food, reminds me of my childhood. I drove all the way from Nebraska just to eat here, and I drove all the way back home after ☺️ please never change your recipes!!
