It's the best Mexican restaurant in Pagosa Spring.

Stopped here to attempt a lunch. Sat down, received chips and salsa and then waited a long time for a server to only find out that they do not give you water! You have to purchase bottled water. We are big water drinkers and there was no way I was staying to eat in a restaurant where they try a money grab on something like water.
We decided to leave so we just paid for the chips and salsa.
Even worse is we were leaving and I saw the hostess (owner, maybe?) at the soda station. I asked her.. "do you not give out water?" "Is there something wrong with the tap water here?" (I thought maybe it had something to do with the spring there). She turned around to answer me and was holding what looked like a glass of water she poured for herself from the soda station!!
What a crappy way to try and earn an extra buck on travelers. Sooo many other Mexican places in and around town. I would never go back and eat here.
Good food. Great service. Will definitely return for more.

Service and atmosphere is good. However, the food was bland and way over priced for what we got. Taco Bell would have been better.

My husband and I come back year after year for Tequilas in Pagosa Springs. We get the Shrimp fajitas for two, which tastes like you got cooked a huge lovingly home cooked meal by someone's family! Tortilla chips are fresh and so is salsa, which comes with your meal. mangonada or margaritas are very refreshing here. Staff is always friendly so be aware some poor reviews of this restuarant may be from disagreeable rude people! Yes the view is great but all in all we come back for the great experience and wonderful fajitas, highly recommend.

The first Mexican restaurant I’ve ever been to that is not family friendly. Good food and great location, but my wife was not allowed to enter (with a stroller & sleeping infant) to join my 5yo and I shortly after sitting down on the balcony. I had to get our food to go, and they were clearly not happy about it. I’m very conversational in Spanish, went out of my way to be nice, and there was plenty of room around us. The family next to us was also surprised and had their own bad experience. I’d possibly understand if our kids were being crazy or our baby crying, but that was far from the case. This is one of the only times in my life to leave a 1-star review and a zero tip.

Couldn't sit outside even though it was a gorgeous day and barely anyone there. Tap water not included with meal, had to purchase drinking water. Food alright. Expensive, probably for the location but couldn't even sit outside to enjoy the location. Wouldn't go again.

The food is delicious! Great service! It was a gorgeous 60⁰ outside overlooking the river though, and they wouldn't let us sit on the patio because it was so cold. 🫤

For some reason every time we visit Pagosa Sprigs my in-laws want to go here. And every single time the staff acts very put out that we chose their restaurant. Like everyone else’s review we were charged for water? Why? Also they were “understaffed” which is understandable, everywhere you go these days is understaffed but the staff here stood behind the bar staring at us and legit seemed upset that we asked for more chips and refills on our drinks.
Other people came in after us ordered, got their meal and were paying to go before we had our order taken.
This will be the last time my family and I go here. Next time the in-laws are their own (I would give them a one star review as well if I could).
If there was one positive to this place the portions of food were very generous.

We enjoyed our meal. The food was great and prices were reasonable. Very kid friendly. Great views from the patio and if you plan on visiting the Springs Resort you can scope out the area. Recommended.
