It is a must stop when visiting Pagosa Springs. Delicious food and excellent customer service. It’s a small sized restaurant, however, food, service and value is all worth the wait. Party of 6 included children and who enjoyed working on the kids’ menu activity sheet. Good portions for adults and children. We will continue to visit The Rose when visiting Pagosa Springs.

The Rose seemed right up my alley and I wanted to love it, but sadly my meal was mediocre. The hashbrowns were particularly disappointing, barely cooked, no flavor whatsoever. Take this with a grain of salt as others clearly have had a much better experience! Also, this might be for you if you are sensitive to spicy food, as the chopped green chile omelet (with roasted hatch chile) was not at all spicy, which some might find desirable. Great hot chocolate BTW. Also note there is a 3.5% upcharge for using non-cash payments.

Very cute place. Great atmosphere and decor. Our server was very friendly and fast. Portions were good, but the hash browns were under seasoned, even a dash of salt and pepper didn't help. Highly recommend the apple and ham grilled cheese, yum!
Parking: Had no problem parking on the street.

This place was awesome! Had the deluxe waffle, and the ham and cheese omelette with hash browns. Also a hot chocolate with whip cream. The waffle was amazing. Saw a lady come in and complain that other people were taking too long to enjoy their meal. Sorry lady we’re all on vacation too try a little thing called patience. Overall I think The Rose has a perfect vibe for everyone’s pagosa vacation give it a try.

Everything here was great! Very cute place. Food and service were wonderful. Good portion sizes. They had a waitlist but people were in and out fairly quickly. Will definitely revisit for brunch next time we are in Pagosa!

A Hidden Gem for Breakfast at The Rose!
I recently dined at The Rose, and I must say, it’s a delightful little hole in the wall that exceeded my expectations! I ordered the huevos rancheros (the frijoles were delicious) with the green chili on the side, as I’m quite particular about my chili. To my surprise, the chili was absolutely DELICIOUS!
While the pozole was decent, it wasn’t quite what I’m used to, but that didn’t take away from the overall experience. My husband went for the breakfast burrito smothered in green chili, and he loved it!
The Rose may be small, but it packs a big punch when it comes to flavor and quality. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend stopping by for a meal that will leave you craving more!

The food we ordered seemed to be Cooked in lard. Hashbrowns eggs bacon. The other order of biscuits and gravy was fine the coffee was very good. I did not like the fact that when using a credit card we were charged 3.5% up charge. The service was good..
