“The Meadery is always a breath of fresh air. It’s a great place to relax and enjoy the sweeter things in life! Today on our visit we had the Blueberry Honey Wine and the White Sangria (both great as usual!) and learned about the nest camera that they have to observe an on-site Kestrel family as we wait for the eggs to hatch later in June! “This winery is family-owned and after just talking to the owner for a few minutes, you’ll know that they’re great people. They have the sweetest cats who we were able to meet during our visit. They also partner with organizations to donate a percentage of sales of special wine bottles. This month is a dog rescue! The wine is so good and they have a great variety of options, including a few peach wines, as the area is known for the peaches. There is a cute outdoor area to enjoy your wine if you’d like to be outside. It has a nice view of the vineyard there and it’s dog-friendly. It was a treat to meet the owner’s smart & thoughtful daughter who’s working on making the outside even more beautiful with dog & cat-friendly plants. We look forward to our next visit!”

“We stopped at El Rey’s on 5•3•2025 The food was absolutely delicious but even better than the food was the family that works hard to run their business. We had one person in our party of 8 that has significant food allergies, they were very empathetic and paid close attention to our needs and made us feel safe that our friend could dine with them with no worries. We truly appreciated that. We wish we lived closer so we could patronize their business more often. We will be stopping in again next year when we are in town. Please support the small businesses whether you are local or in town as a tourist. Thank you El Rey”

“Came here for a birthday dinner and it sincerely was the best food we have ever been served. We shared the ribeye and the pork milanese but I don’t think you can go wrong with whatever you get. The dishes had so much flavor and the sides are perfectly paired.

I believe Victoria was our server and she was very kind, knowledgeable, and attentive. Thank you much for making our experience there so wonderful.

“Get married at Maison/Amy’s Courtyard! Booking Amy’s Courtyard was the best decision we made for our wedding. Using them for catering was the next best decision. Nic and Holly were a delight to work with from our initial meeting to our grand exit. All the staff made the reception fun and ensured our guests were well taken care of. During planning, Holly was always prompt in her response. Amy’s/Maison did their best to accommodate our requests. They even masterfully managed my southern mother who has directed numerous weddings. The day of our wedding exceeded our expectations. The beauty of the space, the food, the drink, and the staff made our wedding day unforgettable. At every point, from planning to execution Amy’s was world class. You want to work with Amy’s Courtyard. Words can’t express how pleased we were with this venue and caterer before and after our “I do.””

“Whoever said “Arby’s has the meats” clearly hasn’t been to Palisade Brewing. I had an absolutely smashing Reuben sandwich - probably one of the best I can remember. And my wife’s French dip was pretty danged good, too! Oh, yeah: they brew beer here and it’s great! The Mt Garfield Views IIPA goes great with… meat! The rest of the beers work well, too. And the staff are hospitable and helpful. If you’re gonna take a break from Palisade wine or peaches, take your break here.”
