We were apparently "off season" and were the only ones there for 30 minutes. Then another group of 4 came in. Takes away from the experience. Menu wasn't available and outside of the Onion Soup, we had difficulty finding something we'd really love to eat... so what we got was unusual for us. Wouldn't order it again. BIG on Peaches... Peach Mussels... they were OKAY. Peach Bread Pudding was tasty.
The service was exceptional; water glasses filled consistently, orders taken and food delivered promptly. The cocktails were also exceptional. We had the Agave Poloma and the Espresso Martini, both were a 5. My husband and son had a whiskey cocktail and both enjoyed. Two of us ordered the New York Strip Steak entree (4). The meat was not particularly flavorful although cooked as ordered; the mashed potatoes were flavorful (5). I ordered the Salmon Entree (3). Thé Salmon was over...
We had a wonderful time at Caroline's. It was our first time there. Lovely atmosphere with great service. Lupita knew the wine and food menu very well and answered all of our questions. The food was AMAZING!! We will be back and we highly recommend!!! Thank you for making our Anniversary special!!!
