Small place, felt like we were in the owner’s home. I had carne asada tacos and my boyfriend had the quesadillas. Fresh and tasty. Will definitely stop here the next time we pass through town.
Top place to eat in town!
What a delight! Really good food served by really nice women. If you find yourself in Parachute, don’t despair. The food here will make up for a pretty undistinguished town. I got a quesadilla, and the owner took the time to get the tortilla really crispy on the griddle. The homemade salsa is perfect. My husband loved his AlHambre too.

We were driving from Bryce Canyon to Boulder and searched for a restaurant along the way. Margarita is super pleasant and food is cooked freshly by her! I had the carne assada and it was wonderful Highly recommended
Lovely surprise in Parachute. A tiny family run restaurant with excellent Salvadoran and Mexican food. My wife had the pupusas (corn pancakes) which she rated as outstanding (I had a taste and agree). She also praised the pickled vegetables, as well as the beans and rice. The proprietor special made a veggie burrito for me:, which was delicious. There is something about the preparation of the rice and beans that is very different than a typical Mexican restaurant. Pleasant dining area and wonderful service.
