Hickory House Reviews
always Delicious! I have never been disappointed!
This used to be my favorite place for prime rib. Unfortunately, during my last three visits, the prime rib has been tough to cut and chewy, super disappointing. I’m not sure if the quality of the meat has changed, but it hasn’t been the same. I won’t order the prime rib here anymore. However, I still enjoy their BBQ ribs.
The baby back ribs and sauces are great. Most of the other BBQ items are average as are the sides. I don't recommend the mac & cheese as it sounds great on the menu, but is really more of a side dish and had very little cheesy flavor. You can add any of the meats to it and they will become the main feature.

Hickory House offers a variety of delicious food options, including the popular The Feast. The half rack of ribs in the combo dinner may be small, but they are tender and flavorful. The BBQ ribs and chicken are great choices, with gluten-free BBQ sauce available. The lunch specials are large, filling, and tasty, with the Wednesday special featuring brisket and ribs that come with tea toast and a choice of two sides. The portions are surprisingly generous, and while the ribs are par-cooked, they are still very good. The restaurant provides good service and has a warm, cozy atmosphere that feels like stepping into BBQ heaven. Customers enjoy the mouthwatering aroma of smoked meats, and the staff is known for being patient and thorough. There are vegetarian options, though true vegans may find limited choices. Hickory House is wheelchair accessible for all customers, and while parking can be tight in front, there is more space available around back.
