Black Bear Diner Pueblo Reviews
We unexpectedly had to go tonight. it was awful from the start. When we called around 530 they said they were opened til 730. we got over there around 615 right away she says they are closing at 7. almost left knowing with a big party this wasn't going to work out. Decided to give it a try, it's my daughters birthday and she's hungry.
We were seated and it took over 20 minutes to get our waitress to take our order. Placed order. . . waitress checked on us one time in the next...read full review
Better service, to long of a food wait.
They need new cooks. I have been to other black bear diners and they were great but this locations food seems different and tastes horrible. Reminds me of a cafeteria at a nursing home. Very dry and flavorless food. Do not waste your money here.

Black Bear Diner Pueblo: A Familiar Comfort-Food Spot with Potential
The Black Bear Diner in Pueblo delivers the familiar comfort-food style the franchise is known for, and the overall food quality is generally close to what one might find at other locations. It's a convenient option for those craving Black Bear favorites without the need to drive to the Colorado Springs diner.
However, the service and atmosphere at this location can feel a bit inconsistent compared to the stronger franchise spots. The dining experience doesn't always have the same warmth or energy, and the food can vary from visit to visit - sometimes great, other times just okay.
Nonetheless, for a local stop where one can enjoy hearty portions without a long drive, the Pueblo Black Bear Diner gets the job done. A bit more consistency and attention to the overall vibe would elevate the experience significantly.
The reviews mention a few specifics, such as the AYCE Friday fish feed featuring pollock instead of the regular cod, and some order mix-ups. The service was generally pleasant, with one server, Erica, being described as friendly and attentive despite handling a busy shift. The manager also made efforts to address the issues and provide a discount for the customers.
Overall, the Black Bear Diner in Pueblo seems to be a decent option for those in the area, though it may not quite capture the full charm and quality of the stronger franchise locations. With some improvements, it has the potential to become a more reliable and enjoyable dining experience.
