This is not my first bad experience here, but it's certainly my last. I've gone to the downtown Chelseys many times and had mixed quality, but overall kept giving it chances. Then discovered the one in the county that was newer and held higher hopes. But I've received good and terrible food, never great, on multiple occasions. I keep giving them the benefit of the doubt. But overall, it's greasy, lazy, American garbage, with cooks who obviously have no care in their craft and are thrown together. It's definitely more of a fast food place than a restaurant.The photo is my last experience, this was my first two bites. The whole burger had end pieces and take it as picky if you will, but that's unacceptable to me from a small restaurant that charges so much. It sucks to bite into a chunk like this on a good burger. Cause they actually are GOOD burgers, it just depends on the cook I guess.The chili dogs and corn dogs are also a huge rip off. Make them at home.

My husband and I love to go here, the food is good, but service is horrible. Instead of waiting on tables and getting orders right, the waitress was doing shots with a table, 4 shots just within the 40 minutes we were there. This place would be 5 stars if they could get some good employees.

Wings are a good size not tiny like the big chain places. Burgers taste great, you can taste the freshness! Try the Big Chelsey you won't regret it! We go at dinner time we appreciate the small, no drama atmosphere and we always get great service!

The waitress was really friendly when we 1st got in. Took a minute to order but got the order in and the food was disgusting. When you think green chili fries you think actual green chili you put on a slopper but no....it was gross chopped chili over greasy uncooked fries and a little cheese. And then the chips and queso was also gross, the chips were greasy and burnt and the queso was microwaved in a plastic container and it was lumpy and old cheese. After we got the food the waitress never came back and they started to close up and almost forgot we were in there. I thought the Canon city one was bad but this one is worse.

Ha! The perfect family tavern right around the corner.Pool table, beers, darts, and good food. And an experienced waitress to keep it all humming along. Oh, and music. Loud enough to feel like a fun place but not too loud to carry on conversations!The fish was surprisingly good, the BBQ Sandwich generous, and the beer came in chilled glass.
