Humble, but hearty. The guacamole that comes with the chips is the best I've had in some time, as is the limeade. There's a bit of a wait, but you can really tell that the chef is putting his all in these dishes.

The last thing I expected in this small town was a truly authentic Costa Rican. The margaritas were tasty, the ceviche was incredible and the gallo pinto(black beans and rice) was spot on. The service was a little slow, but that only adds to the Pura Vida lifestyle authenticity!

We stopped by Land and Ocean on our way through town and we are so grateful we did! Authentic Costa Rican food is hard to find in Colorado, and Land and Ocean did not disappoint! We loved the pineapple juice, gallo pinto and tacos, and the guacamole was amazing. The service was also great, and we enjoyed the authenticity of the decor. We’ll definitely be going back next time we’re in town!

What a wonderful gem in the heart of Ridgway! This was a great place to get fresh Ceviche from an authentic Costa Rican chef/owner! I was so hungry I didn’t get photos, but man, this was amazing!
