stopped on our way to Grand Junction and tried 3 different tacos; beef, chicken and pork. all were seasoned perfectly and were delicious! We're so glad we found El patron and will make it a regular stop!!
Best tacos I’ve had in a long time!
The quesabirria taco is the only taco I need in my life! It was AMAZING! It was all I could do not to drink the broth straight from the container. I think I may be hopelessly addicted!

EL PATRON TAQUERIA serves tacos to die for, including birria tacos, shrimp tacos, lingua, and barbacoa tacos. The birria tacos are well seasoned, and the shrimp tacos are always cooked to perfection. The Tacos de Birrias, burrito asada, and quesadillas are fantastic, with nuanced and balanced seasoning, not greasy, and generous portions. The asada burritos are fire. The Quesibirria is great and comes out fast. The food is amazing, very good, and the place is really affordable. The atmosphere is no-nonsense diner style, clean enough, with a welcoming vibe. The restaurant was busy with families, and locals love this place. The service is quick, though some found it a bit slow. The only issue was the restaurant was awfully hot and humid. Anyone traveling through the Rockies to Denver should make the stop here for great Mexican food.
