Vegetarian Restaurants near Rocky Ford

“After moving furniture all day, I felt too tired to cook. I called Mission Deli to order takeout, but couldn't get anyone to answer the phone. So, I put my 87 year old grandmother in bed, and drove a few blocks to the restaurant. There was a good crowd. I ordered 3 dinners and a side of rice. After about a half hour, the waitress said there was a mix-up that they were rectifying. After an hour, the waitress returned to explain that they had run out of enchilada sauce and a new batch was being made. She said other patrons had walked out, so she appreciated my patience and her demeanor was very kind. After an hour and 15 minutes wait, I could hardly return home empty-handed to my hungry family, but I wasn't offered a chance to alter my order to expedite. No complimentary chips or drink to enjoy as I waited and no discount was offered. When I got home I realized the side of rice was missing, so I had to cook for my child when I got home since the other dishes were too spicy for him. Also, the rellenos meal" was a single smothered rellenos that did not come with beans and rice as the waitress and I discussed. The "chicken tacos meal" was a single taco with rice only. The "enchiladas meal" was 2 enchiladas with beans and rice and met my expectations. All of the food was delicious! The price was very affordable. So far, it has been the best experience I've had at a Mexican restaurant in Rocky Ford. I won't be able to eat here often though, because being a full-time caretaker, I just cannot leave my family unattended for such lengthy periods.“
