The old guy who runs this place is an artist. Sometimes he goes home for supper and comes back a little late but at 82 years old, I can appreciate the passion in this ice cream. Would highly recommend this place.
This place is a Salida gem. Delicious homemade ice cream, cozy atmosphere indoors and out, wonderful owner, and a special treat for our puppy to boot! We will be returning next time we are in Salida!!!
Loved the ice cream here! Such a special place with the sweetest owner and a great Salida story. Don’t mind the reviews complaining about times they’re open. This isn’t a corporate shop and it’s an older gentleman. If you miss the time they’re open, check out the river to relax a little and try again next time. You won’t regret it!
