Our family loves this place, especially in the summer. Great location on the river and fun atmosphere! Menu has recently changed and I miss some semi healthy options, like the turkey club. It’d be great if there was a grilled chicken breast instead of just fried to add to a salad or have as a chicken sandwich. I’m gluten free so limited, glad you kept the GF buns though!

Got into town around 4 and called to see how late the kitchen would be open. They said 10pm. Went and enjoyed the hot springs at Mount Princeton and on my way back to the hotel, around 9:15pm. They stopped answering the phones. Walked inside the place, and chairs were already on tables, and I had to approach the bartender and ask if the kitchen was open, and they said no, they closed about an hour ago. It would have been nice if they told us on the phone they stay open depending on business versus a definite answer of 10pm. I would have planned more accordingly.

This place is pretty dang good! Had a late night burger and fries. It was delish and hot the spot. The onion rings are beer battered and oh my are they scrumptious. There was also live music which added to the ambiance rather than detract which is always a win for me.

Let me start this review off by saying the bad reviews that we read online were actually the reason we tried this spot out, and this place is awesome, we were greated right away by more than one employee all very friendly and very attentive to our needs. The food was fantastic drinks were great I recommend the spicy margaritas if you like the heat!!! Kent was are bar tender and did an amazing job serving us and was quite funny a very warm atmosphere family and dog friendly would definitely return to this place again and strongly recommend!!!!!!! We even got t-shirts lol

Food was good save the onion rings, quite bready and soggy. Turkey melt and burgers were also good in decent portions, fries also done well, a few of the patrons had some of the beer options and they liked them as well. The back deck was a great place to eat as the weather was good, and the river walk right there is a bonus. Staff was also pleasant, however hovered over us when presenting the bill, very unnerving. Dog friendly back patio, but you have to enter from the riverside of the restaurant and not the front..
Parking: 100% street parking, may have to walk a block or two, but worth the short walk.
Kid-friendliness: Child food options and plenty of child seating options.
Wheelchair accessibility: Back outdoor deck is ADA compliant but you have to enter through the river walk and not the front, no ADA restrooms that I saw. It is a historic structure so I know they are trying and it is worth the river walk to enjoy the food and atmosphere.

Best sweet potato waffle fries on earth! BLT was delicious, generous with the bacon and it was thick cut, cooked perfectly.

Sat by the river on the expansive patio. Ended up on the self-service side to be near water and we had dogs with us. This meant we needed to go to the bar to order. No problem! Except the bartender was grumpy. Probably after a long day (Sunday of Labor Day weekend), but still. Food was good. Beers were cold :-)

One of the best burgers I’ve ever had! This place was packed with people and a bit loud with the live music on a Friday night, but there was still plenty of seating available. The service took a minute to acknowledge me (as it’s “seat yourself” seating), but once they did, they were extremely attentive- when I ordered right away and asked for the bill, they took the hint that I was in a bit of a rush- and my food came out in like 5 minutes! The High Side Burger I got was fantastic- perfectly seasoned with plenty of melty cheese, well cooked- truly one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. I’m looking forward to coming back next time I’m in Salida- and when I’m hopefully in less of a rush!
