It was off season. The dining area is separate from the order /pick up area, It was a little cool in there. The food was delicious, plentiful and heat hot, though I did have the ghost pepper patty melt it wasn't spice hot. Just yummy.

Stopped on my way back to Denver from Salida. I should have known better but I thought I would give it a shot. The young kid that was working there was super rude and I have no idea why he was hired to work there. Slammed the window in my face twice after he took my order and gave me my food. $18 for a tiny nasty hamburger and fries.

Recently visited and were given fabulous free ice cream (Toasted Pina Colada, I think) by the person I assume was the proprietor! He didn't know us, we didn't know him. We were just sitting outside at a table in the late afternoon. There were three of us and he gave us each a huge bowl! Not only was the ice cream amazing, but that act of kindness will stick with us for future visits. Thank you!

Not sure how this place gets 4.5 stars! I was greeted very unprofessionally by some young girl that had no clue what she was doing! The food was so bad I wouldn’t even feed it to my dog ended up throwing most of it away complete waste of money plates are overpriced For a walk up counter.

Ordered the chicken sandwich and it cost $18 after tax. What I received seemed like a frozen Tyson patty that was heated up and thrown on a bunch with a few veggies. Would give 1 star if the fries weren’t so crispy.

We waited in line for over a half hour just to order. This was mainly due to slow staff. The food being ready was fairly quick but the Texas chili burger was extremely small in size and horrible. That's probably some of the cheapest meat and chili I've ever had. Save your money and don't get the burgers. Grab some ice cream and go.

Absolute gem of a place when needing a quick bite and especially when you are passing through. We had two signature burgers that were excellent with awesome battered fries. Got the chicken strips for our teen daughter. She works at Chick-fil-A and was SO impressed by these strips! Beats CFA and she’s quite familiar with that chicken!

The best retro burger and BBQ place you'll find for miles. Nearly every meal I've gotten here has been a spiritual experience, and the owner is one of the nicest dudes you'll ever meet. Keep your stomach empty for this spot!
Sincerely,
Peach stand dude

If I could give this 6 stars I would. I got the rocky mountain fries and they were so good! It came out pretty fast too. The server offered us free refills too which was very nice. The chef was also very nice. Friendly folk. I will definitely come back.
