I always get the turkey avocado. I don’t even live in salida but I stop here when I’m passing through. Real treat of an establishment.

AMAZING, they have gluten free bread available with any sandwich, so much to choose from, fresh ingredients, great pickles and the friendliest staff. I highly reccomend checking this place out!

Busy and friendly with the best sandwiches in downtown Salida. Plenty of treats to choose from after a day on the trails or in the river.

Sweeties is the best Sandwich shop I’ve been to. Every time we pass through Salida we stop in. Take a look at their menu online before hand, there are so many great sandwich’s worth considering. The baked goods are fantastic as well. It is a little pricey, but that’s never stopped me from coming in.

THE place to grab lunch when in Salida! The baked goods are off the chart incredible as are the sandwiches! Worth the wait and for sure you won’t go hungry. This is a must stop as is their sister restaurant upstairs for brunch! Cant wait to go back and try more as well as get another magic cookie bar!

We were in Salida for a few days. We got sandwiches here To Go to take along on a picnic. The sandwiches were scrumptious. Another day we ate in the restaurant. You order at the counter and they deliver the food to your table when it's ready. Again the sandwiches were excellent. The restaurant is very busy and very casual, seating yourself and wiping other people's crumbs off the table if the very busy staff don't get to wiping tables. It's a lively place and comfortable in a casual way. We highly recommend eating here for a yummy lunch right in town.

LOVED this spot. When I visit Salida I’m always looking for something a little funkier, down to earth and less manicured. This spot is the real deal! Wide variety of options of sandwiches and sweets for all eaters and preferences. We are gluten free and the bread options was great (pricey up charge,$3.50) and their non GF bread looks AMAZING.
Highly suggest taking your sandwich down to the creek to enjoy!
The only change I would make for GF people ordering a hot sandwich to-go, I would request the sandwich not be wrapped in tinfoil. I think the GF bread would hold up better and get less soft that way.
We loved the Red Hen and the chicken one with everything on it (can’t remember the name).
Also super queer and LGBTQ friendly space. We walked in and immediately felt at home and with family.

Absolutely loved the food! Haven't found sprouts on a sandwich since Beskey's (I know that's terrible spelling) and Punky's in BV. ❤️❤️❤️ Was super busy but great quality!

Bought the mix for Mabel’s double chocolate cookies. They are easy to make and good, but extremely salty. Would be better if the salt was cut in half

Sandwiches are small, expensive and pretty good.
YUM!! Up up up! 🫶
Best sandwich in CO. We stop everything we pass through. Sweetie's has gotten much busier in recent years, yet still makes your sandwich quickly and high quality. Highly recommend.

Not as good as it used to be. Ate here a couple years ago and remember the food being very good at the time. On this visit had a turkey sandwich and the turkey was definitely the lower quality version that you would get at say a Subway. Also had a salad with diced chicken. Chicken was overseasoned/processed so not good grilled chicken.
Service was slow. Took us around 20 minutes to get our take out order on a Thursday around 11:30 when it wasn’t super busy.

Gluten free bread can be used on any sandwich!! It tasted great but crumbled like most gluten free bread which is totally fine. Many great sandwich options!! I got the Rob’s Roast Beef with gluten free bread. He got the Notorious and said it was fantastic. Friendly service, very helpful with questions, and clean tables. Many people were coming in from the river with their swimsuits on for a bite. Very happy with our experience.
