The server added their own tip without permission which is very illegal. If you eat here make sure to check your receipt before leaving if using a credit card or use cash only. We are locals and are up there all the time and we have never had this issue before.
Awesome pizza great service. Please setup pizza delivery to Fort Worth Tx. I would like to place an order!!
Writing this review as I sit here because OMG is it good! Great beer, great pizza, great service!
Normally touristy places overcharge and underdeveloped because they have the monopoly, but this is not the case here! Highly recommend!
Was in town attending the four corners rally in Durango from Oklahoma. Took a trip on the Durango to Silverton train. Upon arrival with a short walk The entrance from the street was very inviting and drew us in. We had several different pizzas from the wood fired brick oven. Excellent! Service was fast and friendly. I’ve save this place on my map so that if I’m ever back I’ll know where to go.
We were in Silverton on a day trip. We decided to eat lunch and the Golden Block was recommended. Natalie was our waitress, she was very nice, helpful, and efficient. We had two drafts and ordered a pizza. We built our own with Natalie’s help. It was perfect and tasty. She said the secret was the oven. We really enjoyed selecting all of the ingredients including the dough. The crust was perfect.
The beer, salad and pizza were all delicious!! And we sat outside on a beautiful day which really made for a great experience!
Forgot to take a picture but pizza was good, beer was good, service was good. Just what you’d want after a long hike.
Great decor, quick and friendly service, delicious food!
Great food, quick service during a very busy rush! Very nice people
We came here right before our train back to Durango for one beer which were fine. Our waitress had a seriously unfriendly vibe and got even more unfriendly when we went to an outside table to finish the ONE round of beer which was already settled up (and tipped). Literally took a few minutes for is to leave and it wasn’t crowded outside or anything at that time. Then when we declined getting anything else she walked away with not a word which in this industry is just rude lol. I also saw her get upset at a customers friend for sitting at a table while another person in their party went inside for something and told the man they weren’t customers and taking her table even though his friend was actively trying to get something. I can understand wanting your tips and the service industry being frustrating, but overall just unfriendly experience.

My wife and I went to the brewery for lunch during our vacation in August '25. We placed orders and then the entire kitchen staff walked out. It was during peak hours as the steam engine just arrived from Durango. I got a free beer out of it, and I felt bad for the servers, but the visit was movie-script bad. It's the first time we've been in a brewery (or any restaurant) where the cooks bail on a full house. I wonder what happened!
Delicious drinks and food. You can order to go or eat outside. Highly recommend.
Great food cold beer
No waiting to be seated. The waiter promptly took our order. The wood fired oven Lead Sled pizza and cheesy breadsticks are good!
Just came off the trail from back packing for four days. The pizza hit the spot, it was delicious.
