Stopped in for coffee and dessert. Great service and wonderful food. The berry pie is the best we have ever had and the whiskey sauce bread pudding is worth the trip alone!!

We stopped in Silverton for lunch after riding the Durango train. Ordered a chicken sandwich and veggie sandwich and the staff generously customized it to our needs. The place had quite the setup true to its name. Definitely recommend this place!!

Good service. Good atmosphere. Horrible food for the price. If you are going to overcharge you had better make the food portions large and presentable. There’s a reason it’s for sale.

The food was quite unimpressive. A medium-rare burger came out looking and tasting like a well-done pre-made Costco burger with a scoop of bland cole slaw on the side. We saw the waiter twice - once to take our food order and once to get paid. The young Asian girl who does everything else was lovely.

Nice atmosphere, service was good. However, my burger was clearly from premade frozen and absolutely not worth the price. Fries are extra, for this price, really. The non burger food seemed better, more made fresh appearing and tasting.

Terrific mom and pop stop. Not as busy and noisy as some of the other lunch spots around town. Great food, friendly service and greetings from the owner. Home made lunch, we loved everything!

I understand why this was pretty much the only restaurant without a line waiting out the door.
The two men waiting/bussing tables were spectacular. They were the best part of the experience.
The hamburger was decent. I opted to upgrade from potato chips to the vegetable soup, for a $4 charge. That was a mistake, not worth $4 for one ladle of soup that was 80% tomato chunks, 15% corn and 5% celery. Stick with the chips.
Do yourself a favor and avoid the mushroom sandwich.
Maybe different menu choices would have changed my opinion, but I think I will try elsewhere next trip through.

Ordered the chili and cheddar burger...very good burger.. Not a fan of the fries... Paul, the owner is very knowledgeable of the history of Silverton.
