Extremely slow service, 45 minutes for 2 sandwiches when we only had 90 minutes break from our Durango Silverton train. Our server was kind & comped us for the inconvenience. (We left her a tip for effort)

The Shady Lady is a credit to its past and present as a woman owned and run business. Yes, the food is excellent and yes the drinks are fantastic, but the real stars are the amazing staff. Beyond providing great service, our server, Cali, was excited to share the history of the building, stories of notable Colorado women, and even tales of the spirts that may still be there. The Shady Lady is a unique gem and a MUST visit. Just don't forget to say 'Goodnight ladies'...

While we are at the Durango motorcycle rally, we stopped into the Silverton Harley Davidson shop. Ask if there’s any local comfort food places and we’re directed here. It did not disappoint. The food was great and the service was also.
