We had an amazing time! The staff was amazing and you could tell the dogs loved every bit of it. The staff was very friendly and super affectionate toward the dogs and you could tell the dogs loved them too. This place definitely got a bad rap and it’s a shame PETA and other activists had this place shut down. I’m thankful we got to experience it, just before the final curtain call. We also took our kids dog sledding over 15 years ago in UT and those memories will last a lifetime. Thank you Krabloonik for an amazing day!

Update: the review under me by Master Hair by Mia, if you look close to the picture, the white dog is definitely a JINDO dog. I cannot believe she still gave them 5 stars despite the fact that she admitted and read the articles after the experience. STILL DO NOT SUPPORT THIS TYPE OF INHUMANE ORGANIZATION.I DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS!!! They’re known to “adopt” Korean jindo-mix dogs for pulling sleds when these dogs are NOT bred for sledding. They are NOT huskies or winter dogs at all!!!!!! This business does not take good cares of these dogs at all. Poorly fed and does not provide appropriate environment for these poor pups. This is ANIMAL ABUSE.

Don't sled ride on poor dogs. Because there is demand, there is supply. This place where animals are abused and slaughtered is not worth using.

It is easy to be conflicted reading reviews & numerous news articles on this place so I don’t want to write a review on what I read AFTER my experience- I did not know anything controversial about Krabloonik prior to my experience- so I can only say I experienced the best service with our musher & all of the staff. Jesus was our musher & he gave me the experience of a lifetime. He let me hop on the back of the sled & it made my experience incredible. His attitude, his service needs to he commended- that is an employee that deserves a bonus. I would say he made our experience special more than anything. Then, after we left- I saw reviews & articles. It is really convincing to be honest. But I would be a liar to say those dogs were not thrilled to take us out, happy to show us love, & filled with joy in their living conditions. I do not believe this place is being closed due to “violating their agreement in the treatment of their dogs”, but because of bad publicity instigated by PETA & then continued by their cult like supporters. I sense fake reviews in all honesty. & that comes from a complete animal lover. I have a shitzu-brussels griffon mix & a lynx point siamese. I would protect those doggies with my heart if I felt they were endangered. To close, I know this experience doesnt change them closing- I dont write this review to produce sales as they close within the next week- but I dont believe it is fair that they have to now carry a legacy of bad reputation.

I just adopted one of their sled dogs. His left leg is bent from a fracture and his nose is damaged. This dog was not taken care of. I feel awful for what they went through. How these people are not in jail amazes me.

This is an evil company that adopts dogs from overseas and uses them as a means of making money.Dog sledding is provided through the abuse of dogsWe need to know how many dogs suffer from the cold and die from abuse for the entertainment of humans.

Excellent place and an amazing family experience. The mushers are friendly the dogs are great and super happy. People who review this place negatively simply don’t understand the nature of wild working dogs. We saw nothing but a great staff working with wonderful friendly gorgeous dogs. Best of luck to you all in the future and hope the dogs get adopted.

This is not an easy review to write, but i willl sincerely try and do my best.I recently became aware of a senior dog rescue that paid some serious money to pull several of the oldest dogs out from this kennel, of which a couple of the dogs sadly passed away shortly after being liberated from this place. It's a shame the treatment these dogs endured, and even worse is how the owners should have desired to set a positive example of what proper treatment of the sled dogs looks like, as it seemed like a very nice operation this resturant had going... but instead, the horrors that went on regarding the suffering of their poor dogs has been unfortunately well documented. One can only hope that something good comes out of this, not too mention that I am not happy about leaving this review but on the other hand there was no possible way I could remain silent.

Great unique food and atmosphere. Getting swamped by animal rights reviews that haven't attended the establishment is not right.

I do not recommend this restaurant. Our family had dinner reservations last night. We showed up, only to be told the cook was sick and they were closed. No phone call- nothing. After a quick google search regarding the dog sledding business, our family will not return!

CRIMINALS. Full on animal abuse for these helpless dogs. Please do not support this business and instead try help get these deserving dogs adopted out of the abusive, cruel environment that they are in. The owners do not care about their dogs, they need to be shut down immediately. Please help spread the word.

Do NOT support this business. I’ve seen videos of the handlers kicking and abusing the dogs. It’s absolutely heartbreaking to see. Especially here in Colorado. Please don’t go here. Do your research. One quick google search will tell you everything you need to know about this awful place.

For all not aware, they are being shut down for dog abuse. How do I give a negative star review?
