Slice of Italy is a casual Italian eatery located in Snowmass, offering a convenient option for a quick meal. While many patrons enjoy the food, it’s important to note that it may not be the top choice for those seeking the best pizza in town. Visitors should temper their expectations regarding culinary excellence; although the offerings are enjoyable and satisfying, they do not stand out as the finest examples of Italian cuisine or pizza.
On a positive note, the restaurant boasts affordable prices, making it an accessible choice for diners on a budget. Additionally, Slice of Italy typically has plenty of seating available, allowing for a relaxed dining experience without long waits. The staff is consistently friendly and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere that enhances the overall experience. Whether you’re looking for a quick lunch or a casual dinner, you can count on Slice of Italy for a decent meal at a reasonable price.

Took our reservation via open table for a Friday and and then sent a text with a few hours notice that it was cancelled. Did not even see the text and ended up heading to the restaurant. Place was unlocked, but no one was there. They have the nerve to charge a $50 per person cancellation fee, yet they end up canceling
How is this 4.5 ?. The food was so bad we couldn’t even eat it. We didn’t complain. We just paid and left. But how the hell do you get off charging high prices for this. Or even serving this for human consumption. I’ve had school lunches in the 90’s that were better. It’s like if Taco Bell made Italian food, but even worse than that.

This place blows my mind every time in the wrong way. The staff is incredibly rude, I can't emphasize that enough. I have probably been 5 times (crazy) and each time they act like they don't want to serve you. Apparently the menu changed recently and the waiter treated us like idiots for not knowing. Truly horrible servers. I asked for a side of ranch and he said "no one in Aspen serves ranch". Are you serious? Get off your high horse and treat your customers with respect.
Edit: Look at the owners previous responses. Unprofessional. Address your customers needs instead of berating them over your insecurities.
Definitely a place to go while in Snowmass, with amazing food, excellent service and beautiful atmosphere. We had a party of 5 and everyone loved the food. I highly recommend this restaurant and will go again!
Vegetarian options: The Vegan pizza was amazing!
Dietary restrictions: My son has a dairy and egg allergy and eats vegan dishes and this was the only restaurant that catered to his dietary restrictions.

I came in here for a late lunch early dinner, after a day of shredding. It was overall an awesome experience. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the ambience was very pleasant. The food was dynamite and the wine divine. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in Snowmass village.

We were there for a private party of approximately 150 guests that lasted 1.5 hours. Pizza snacks and two drinks were to be provided. We have been to this same party 3 years straight. The place puts out 4 or 5 small pizzas cut into 6 pieces every 20 to 25 minutes. That's 24 to 30 pieces of pizza for 150 people every 20 to 25 minutes. Do the math and not everyone can even have 1 piece! Who caters like this? And knowing they have this pre booked crowd, why can't they have pizza ready faster? You have to stand in line for 20 minutes to get a piece because when it comes out, it's obviously gone within a matter of minutes. The pizza isn't great, and the room is way too small for this event, even with the deck area. I can only comment on my personal experience, and it has been the same for 3 years. It's not a good one!

The pizza here is hand tossed and made to order. It had a real Sicilian taste to it. The bar staff is super friendly and the food was fantastic.

Came here with a group for dinner. Was overall disappointed with the quality of the food. The spaghetti noodles looked and tasted like Ramen and didn’t feel like real spaghetti. The price was a little bit too much for what it was. The wait staff was nice, but leaned over some of the people at the table too much. Won’t expand beyond that. Pizza was pretty good though if you just stick to that and maybe take out. Probably wouldn’t come back in the same if I was in the same area.
