Unique and interesting concept of cooking your own steaks. However, both our waiter and the meat counter guide, strongly suggested the Buffalo Ribeye, one of the most expensive cuts. Both people suggested it was the most flavorful cut and could be cut with a spoon. We followed their very specific directions for cooking it medium rare. Even with very generous seasoning, also with their guidance, the meat had absolutely no flavor, and could only be torn/ripped apart with the steak knife. Our server, explained it away that sometimes cuts from different bison, might not meet expectations. No other considerations were provided, very disappointing!

LOVE this place. So much so, that our family decided to eat here two nights in a row on our vacation to Steamboat. All the staff members are awesome, especially Delilah! She is one of those special people who lights up a room and makes every person she interacts with feel important. What a beautiful and joyful woman!

$50 Bison steak, you need to cook yourself. It was fun for the first 2 minutes, but then it got old. It would be more interesting if there was a grill master teaching you how to cook a perfect steak, almost like a cooking class. The process itself is confusing, do you use your raw meat plate as your serving plate? An upgrade could be to serve the meat on a wood board, then transfer to a clean serving plate.
We went to this restaurant two days in a row. The first time to try their steaks. We got filet mignon and ribeye. I enjoyed how they let us cook the meat ourselves. We added butter, pepper, salt and garlic to the steak. The steaks served with a free big bowl of salad. We also ordered artichoke dip and garlic mashed potatoes as sides. The second time, we tried the steak hamburger, stuffed mushrooms dip and bone marrow. All were delicious. Our server Derek (1st day) and Tim (2nd day) were awesome. Highly recommend this restaurant if you visit Steamboat Springs. If you are limited in budget, the restaurant offer $24 smaller new york steak.

I was looking for steakhouses in steamboat and when this one showed up on google I was a little bit confused but intrigued. We arrived and were seated quickly. Since it was our first time they explained everything. Great meat selection, sides and drinks options. We picked our meats and headed to the grill. Everything was explained there too and given the times that we should cook on each side. We cooked, then sat down and it salad and sides were at the table. The server was fantastic. The good was delicious and filling. The ambiance was good. Price was adequate.

We loved our experience eating at this restaurant. We chose our steaks and actually got to grill it ourselves with their exact instructions. Ribeye and garlic mashed potatoes were amazing. They even treated us with dessert for my dad’s birthday. We were well served and it was so much fun!
