The service was fantastic. We ordered 2 buffalo ribeyes and a regular ribeye. The instructions they gave to cook our steaks were on point. The steaks were delicious and tender. Please do yourself a favor and add the garlic butter to your steak in the last 30 seconds of cooking. The garlic mash potatoes were delicious too. We had a great time cooking our steak even our teenager had fun. I hightly reccomended this restaurant.

Such a fun experience! Huge portions and very friendly staff. A unique experience we will recommend to everyone.

This was such a neat restaurant because there was unlimited salad and then you got to go up to the meat counter and look at the fresh meat and pick what you wanted and then the exciting part was you got to go cook your own plus you could make Texas toast. You must try their eighth Street tater dessert.

Super friendly waitress and nice folks teaching the ins and outs of cooking your own meal.

Interesting restaurant in that you cook your own food over extremely hot grills. The food quality could have been better. Overall, a nice experience.

The restaurant had a mellow vibe. It was fun to grill our own food and the staff were very nice and extremely helpful. Would go back!

The salad and sides were mediocre at best. I ordered the Wagyu beef and found it tough. We will not be back.

Our absolute favorite in Steamboat! The staff treats us like family every time we visit. The atmosphere and food are superb and it's a tradition our family and friends look forward to each time we visit Steamboat!

It was fun BSing while cooking our steaks. Our server Gracie was very nice and attentive. The gentleman who helped us with picking our steaks gave us some good tips based on cooking on their grill. Good wine list too.

Neat experience- steak was good. Cook it yourself- As expected, the steak starting $23.95 was followed by most natural selections around 35-40. Still smell there is amazing and worth going to.

Loved Derek who shared details of the live menu. I think the only complaint would be the timing of the sides with the main course. It was off and although we waited a bit, we ended up finishing our steaks before most of the sides came to the table

Worst dining experience ever! Rude server, bad concept, manager even worse!

Manager Joel not so politely had us hurry up to finish a birthday dinner so he could seat more people. Not the right person for the job

I promised GM Joel McComiskey a review so here it is. Food: so so. Shrimp was mushy, had to go to war with 10 other people at a time in a tiny nook to cook your own steak, salad was basic, sides were small. The bread is a loaf of Sara Lee. Price: way too high for what you get Atmosphere: overcrowded and loud. If you want to be able to hear a conversation at your own table go somewhere else Service: waiter did his best. Overworked. Poor hostess got thrown WAY under the bus when we complained about the table of 20 having a bachelorette party right next to our table that were partying like they were at a bar (it was 5:30pm in a restaurant): while she apologized to us profusely the GM rewarded the giant table with an apology for her and a round of tequila shots. When I complained about them I was told to “get over it; they are celebrating”. Then he stalked me back to my table and gave me his card to “make sure I spelled his name correctly”. Save your money. Go somewhere else.

First off- before you go, know this is a “cook your own meat” steakhouse; we didn’t realize before showing up for our reservation. If you’re good with that, know that it was a wonderful experience. Our butcher that helped us pick our steaks gave us the perfect cooking times for our desired temp. Sides were great (we had twice-baked & brussel sprouts). Salads are bottomless, and though our first bowl had some lettuce that was on the edge, the second bowl was fresh and wonderful! Best was our server Gracie- she was amazing! Really took care of us, thoroughly explained everything & kept us with drinks! (And thank you for your above-and-beyond, Gracie!!). Super fun experience.
