Inclusions Bakery and Dessert Bar

Dear Inclusions Bakery Team,

I am writing to express our deep disappointment with the cakes we received for our recent birthday celebration. We placed an order for two cakes, providing clear and detailed instructions regarding the colors and flavors for each one. Unfortunately, our experience fell far short of expectations.

First, the cake flavors were completely mixed up. The lavender-colored cake, which was supposed to be the confetti flavor, was made as a strawberry cake instead. This was not only incorrect but also extremely concerning, as the little girl whose name was on that cake is allergic to strawberries. You can imagine her disappointment and our alarm when she cut into her cake to find strawberries inside. This mistake completely defeated the purpose of ordering two separate cakes with specific instructions.

To make matters worse, the second cake—which was supposed to be strawberry—did not taste like strawberry at all. Instead, it had a strong cinnamon or spice flavor and was excessively soggy from an overwhelming amount of filling. It appeared that far too much filling was poured into the center rather than being evenly layered, resulting in an unpleasant texture and taste.

Overall, both cakes were a major letdown. To add to the concern, the person who placed the order is a cake baker manager, and even she was shocked by the poor quality and lack of attention to detail. For a bakery with a reputation for quality, this experience was incredibly disappointing.

We hope you will take this feedback seriously and address these quality control issues to ensure this does not happen to other customers in the future.

Just don’t order “regular milk” or you will be lectured.

Just in case there is confusion, milk comes from a female mammal…and isn’t stripped of fat through extra processing.

Nut “milk” is just good marketing…

AMAZING variety of gluten free and vegan options. Our boy, who has celiac and an egg allergy, got to have his first cookie dough treat ever, and was so happy to be able to partake of good, delicious baked goods. Truly great and one of a kind.

Looks nice from the outside. Doors locked and not open, at 2pm on a Saturday even though they say they are on their lit up window sign: “Saturday 7am - 4pm. Shame.

I get the feeling there's a little sassiness at this bakery LMAO.

PS - turn off the lit up sign that shows you're open.

We had Inclusions as our dessert caterer for our wedding in Steamboat! They were an absolute delight to work wtih and everything was delicious. We've been eating leftover cake and dessert for a week now. While it's time to get back to fitness, I would love to eat their tasty treats every day! They delivered to the mountain top (for a fee) with no issues and everything was displayed beautifully. Thank you for being a part of our special day!!

This Bakery is a true gem! The pastries are fresh, flavorful, and beautifully made you can really taste the quality in every bite. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. Whether you’re stopping by for a quick coffee or enjoying a sweet treat, this Bakery is definitely worth a visit. This bakery is exceptional! After discovering it we came every morning of our trip to Steamboat, Grace the baker and owner was so warm and welcoming and my wife got to try amazing gluten free items she never gets like huge loafs of bread, giant cinnamon rolls, large muffins, palisade peach rolls, and more! A great bakery on any level and an absolute must try for any with dietary restrictions!

So delicious! I went three days in a row and was more pleasantly surprised each day with some new delicious GF creation! The breads are so good and don’t crumble like most GF breads. Could not recommend enough for GF folks!

This bakery made my heart so happy, especially as I'm recently gluten free (not by choice...). The staff was so friendly and gave me the recommendation to put the cinnamon roll frosting on the sticky bun - would highlyyyyy recommend this combo and this bakery to anyone with a gluten free or glutenous diet!

Oh my geees this is the most coolest and nicest bakery in town! You walk in and it smells incredible! The people there are sooo polite and accommodating, this was 7 am in the morning!! The coffee was killer, the cinnamon muffins was to die for - not too sweet and didn’t taste fake, like many do, but very fresh and tasty!! The quiche was very good and easy to eat! Can’t go wrong here for breakfast!!Inside or outside! Can’t wait to go back!! Yummmm!!
