Our favorite meal in Steamboat. Happy Hour was a great deal. Wish we would have another day to stop and get a sandwich. Jamon shaved to order.
Had an amazing time here on a Thursday night, highly recommend to anyone visiting town! The food, drinks, and dessert were all fantastic

I targeted this place specifically because they had a fish trio as an appetizer and a nice variety of chocolate. We loved the place a lot.
We got lucky to grab a quiet time on a Friday evening and were seated at a large table with our cranky toddler who’s got an opportunity to walk around and explore to decompress. Everyone was super-friendly and helpful.
We tried a lot of different things a took a large bag of stuff home with us. Everything was delicious and creative, and absolutely worth the experience. I’ve been huffing and puffing eventually, but I finished their wonderful basque cheesecake because it was too good to waste it.
I highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone visiting Steamboat Springs. It is as unique as it gets.

Coworker and I wandered in here Memorial Day weekend (saw meat in the window, big fan). Adam had excellent recommendations and was incredibly attentive, I will definitely be coming back! Considering the atmosphere and food it’s pretty reasonably priced. A charcuterie board, goat cheese & N’Duja, the meatballs, three craft beers and an Old Fashioned ran us about $100
The only issue is that there were so many appealing options on the menu, I wanted to try everything (this is where Adam came in clutch with the recommendations). Can’t wait to come back and try some more!

We walked in on a whim for lunch. Judy was amazing. She was so interactive and really made the experience so special. The food was incredible and clearly very thoughtfully crafted. This will be a must visit whenever we come to Steamboat

Saw a sign that said ‘MeatBar’ and I had to go in. What an awesome spot. Great wine selection and the Jambon, incredible.
I’m going back tomorrow to try the raclette and prosciutto sandwich.
Chef Adam and the owner have it going on!! Perfect alpine foodie spot to check out in town.

If you’re anywhere near Steamboat, Meatbar is one of those places that completely sneaks up on you—in the best way.
I had a classic ham and cheese sandwich, and it was honestly unreal. Every single ingredient tasted incredibly fresh. The mustard had this bold, punchy flavor that tied everything together perfectly. Simple food, but executed at such a high level.
Then came the homemade cheesecake… easily one of the best I’ve had. What really blew me away was the sweet tomato served on the side—it sounds unusual, but somehow it worked perfectly. Total genius pairing.
The whole experience just felt very Spanish in spirit—simple, high-quality ingredients, done right without overcomplicating anything. The vibe was completely on point too. For a moment, it genuinely felt like I wasn’t even in Colorado.
What really elevated it though was the chefs. Super friendly, clearly passionate about what they’re doing, and it shows in every detail of the food. You can tell they care.
This place is special.
