Old Town Pub & Restaurant

Do not make the same mistake I did by missing out on Old Town Pub for years! If you are looking for excellent bar food with fabulous service (thank you, Bethany) after a long day on mountain or after a glorious hike then Old Town Pub is the place to go. Stopped in yesterday and enjoyed the best dry rub wings (sorry, Carl’s but I no longer miss you after eating these juicy, well seasoned wings), a Reuben that my hard to please husband proclaimed “it’s really good”, hand cut fries and house made chicken tendies and sauces. Yum!!! I think you just became our new Steamboat comfort food staple. Highly recommend Old Town Pub.

Visited yesterday afternoon. It was pretty slow but expected for the time of year. Service was very nice and beers were cold. Chicken tenders were hand breaded and fried, very tasty!

We loved the atmosphere here. The servers were all so nice and the food was amazing.

Absolutely wonderful experience. Staff was friendly, food was excellent, good music playing. They have excellent gluten free options for those who need them (wife has celiac). I asked for my rib eye medium rare, and they came out to inform me that they accidentally cooked it well, they were cooking me a new one to eat, and they covered my appetizer for the wait. At the end of the night they also covered the drinks for my military service. One of the best restaurants I have ate at overall.

Sauted mushrooms were great! I had a rueben. Excellent.

The macaroni and cheese is fantastic. As previously rated, the staff is less than a tentative at times.

Bites, brews, tunes. Belly up to the bar or wait for a table.

I love that they have good live music. Food is better than expected given the fact that it is a bar with live music and it is “a pub.” The service was a bit strange. We were greeted with a friendly, but somewhat curt and hostile person. I know this may sound odd, but I asked some basic questions about where to order, where to sit (as we came early with show tix, but also wanted to order food). Every time I asked a question I was met with a bit of rudeness and bizarre comments. I could never tell if they were sarcastic or annoyed with our group. We were a group of 6, so it’s possible that we were being annoying. I will say that a member of our group ordered cheese curds, which were delicious. I am not typically a fan of cheese curds.

Great floor for dancing, fine food and drink.

Vibes seemed cool, went in at 8:45, sign out front says cut off by 9 if you don’t pay cover for the band starting at 10. Bouncer asked for cover, we told him we’re getting one beer and heading out. He said he’d find us in 5 mins to kick us out. There’s a way to do business, and that’s not it.
