My second time in Steamboat Springs, but first time going out. I couldn’t believe I found a Jamaican restaurant in Colorado… The food was Authentic!! Plantains and Mac&Cheeze were so good! Customer service was great! Got me a to go order as well. 🤣🤣
I was excited to order bone in fried chicken and have had wonderful Jamaican food in the past. The fried chicken was not cooked to order. I have had better from the day old deli in Walmart. I added the scotch bonnet sauce, which is one of my favorites. It is usually yellow and the green sauce tasted like green Tabasco. The person that took my order and “prepared” our meals was very pleasant and the fries were good. Those are the only positive comments I can share.
I've never had Jamaican food before, but this was my favorite meal I had in steamboat. The restaurant is located in the commons food court . Neither my husband nor I really knew what to order but the lady running the shop was really helpful and made great recommendations. My husband had the oxtail and I had the goat curry and we also got a beef patty to share. The portions were generous for the price and everything was delicious. The curries were spicy and flavorful...
