“A couple of years ago, I had an experience at the Starbucks in City Market, Steamboat, that I’ve been meaning to share. It was around 8:00 PM, right when they were closing, and I stopped in for a coffee before starting my 5 ½-hour drive. The man working there was incredibly kind. Even though he had already started cleaning the machine, he went out of his way to make me a coffee. That alone impressed me, as many places would’ve simply said, “Sorry, we’re closed.”
But what really stood out was what happened next. As I was leaving, I accidentally spilled my coffee all over. I went back in, unsure of what to expect, but he just laughed, stopped what he was doing, and made me another coffee—no hesitation, no complaints. He truly went above and beyond.
The coffee was great, but the kindness and service were what made this experience unforgettable. Five stars for going the extra mile and for creating such a special moment. I’ve been wanting to share this for a long time, so here it is. Highly recommend!“
“Fabulous selection of coffee and tea beverages. They do sell iced coffee and tea also. In addition to this they have bottled and canned beverages, pastries, and other snacks. The stores are always clean and inviting. The staff is remarkably friendly and there is seating available. They also have free wi-do, however it's probably not a secure connection.“
“Stopped in for a caramel ribbon crunch for Ten bucks after a $2 tip. The girl did a fantastic job and was super sweet until I asked for a wide straw that was given to me at a different Starbucks. I proceeded to get a 20 second lecture about how they aren’t supposed to pass out those straws unless you order a Boba drink. Spare me the lecture, Charge me the additional 2 cents. She did reluctantly hand me the straw but the lecture really put a damper on the experience unfortunately.“
