Great bar and atmosphere but walk in at 9pm and the bar is full, and the bar tender tells me it's last call! Normally this place stays open till ten but I guess not tonight! Thanks for the beer!

Came in on a Monday after a hot hike. The bartender seemed annoyed to pour beers and even more annoyed to pour any tasters. After we got our beers he went back to his phone. Beers are good but not great.

Tasty brews selection and a chill atmosphere. Kombucha was yummy. Lots of fest tables and space. Bluegrass/folk music rockin’. Friendly staff. Nice pizza place next door to pair with your brews. The merch was nice.

We are from out of town and staying in Steamboat for the week. On the way back into town after a hike in the mountains we found this local brewery that had a pizza place next door - great combo! The reviews for the pizza is in their site and the beers and atmosphere at Storm Peak was great. Great tasting - well done!

Small gripe at the end though… did we forget what a tip is for? A tip is for “service” ruins just doing your job. The salary people make is for doing their job. I say this because when paying for the beers at the bar, the first percentage for the tip was 20%!!! Yikes! Pouring beer out of a tap and serving it to customers doesn’t warrant a 20% tip… (I’ll expect to get roasted for this…) Not saying bartenders don’t deserve good pay either. But while sitting there enjoying the beers and eating the pizza not once did anyone come by to see “how’s it going?”

Would probably go back to get a cold one but won’t feel like leaving a 20% tip for getting a beer at the bar.

Most amazing beers in The Boat!! Local vibes are present. Max and Barnes really crushed customer service and had the brews flowing. Everything was on point and the place was vibrant with laughter. I would recommend this brewery to anyone. Always giving back to the community and providing healthy support to other local businesses here in Steamboat!! Thank you for the wonderful experience!!

Not impressed and won’t come back. Bartender seemed upset to be at work and then annoyed because we ordered a flight/ tasters. Ummmm that’s your job
….? Outrageously priced for 4 tasters about $ 17.65 or almost $19.00 for the small tip we left because she was not helpful at all and clearly didn’t deserve anything more, and the beer wasn’t good. Tons of IPA’s that made up 50% of their menu. Usually the more IPAs the more they mess up in their recipe and hide it with extra hops. As much as we come to visit steamboat we will never come back here again. Overall bad experience and clearly overpriced!

Stopped here today at the recommendation of the bartender at Mythology Distillery. Great beers, friendly staff and one of the owners stopped by our table which was insightful and appreciative. We will try yo get back during our stay in Steamboat

Super friendly staff and they have a great selection of beers. They are very dog friendly so you can bring your pet - they have a patio area that offers shade if you want it, rooftop seating, and indoor.

Saturday, June 15 @ ~2:30/3pmish. The guy pouring drinks at the bar thought it was necessary to scold me for presenting my coupon for a free beer when it was time to pay (we ordered several beers, but only had one coupon. Meaning, we were ready to pay and tip appropriately as if we didn’t have a coupon at all.). “Next time you need to give these to me before you order!!!!”

Don’t worry, there won’t be a next time. This local will advise friends, family, and visitors to avoid this place. A trip to the brewery should be a welcoming experience, and unfortunately going in fear that you’ll upset your irrational server over the tiniest thing does not make me feel welcomed at all. I hope whoever that guy working there that day gets through whatever he’s going through, before he loses SP more customers.
